The Mac Pro is a Potemkin village from Apple to say they build at least one computer in their catalogue in US. Otherwise, the Mac Pro has more extension ports, a better cooling system and a rack form factor for a server room.

Here’s a question how much RAM can you put into the Mac studio 64 gigs only can you max out 128 can you go to a terabyte ram is important especially for me in the music world. As you may or may not know native instruments Kontakt literally loads into memory
>>
<<@triniticoclough6387
says :
But the problem I have is that APPLE wants to bottleneck everything into a single CHIP so you’re relying on your chip for your processing power in addition to your video but if your CPU ever goes out well there goes your video so you have to replace everything whereas if my CPU had went out, I could salvage my video card or if my video card went out my graphics card I could just get another one, but in this case if the graphics go out that’s also the CPU so I would not be able to replace the graphics without having to change also the CPUand vice versa. This is what I don’t like about APPLE’s new approach. Yes, it’s powerful hoping that it will never ever have an issue, which is stupid because computers always have issues.
>>
<<@triniticoclough6387
says :
I would buy it because of its modular. It’s a tower. I can take some things out unless the hard drive is soldered to the board and the memory is soldered to the board then I guess your point is made I just don’t like the idea of a small box and everything being proprietary.
>>
<<@jordislav
says :
my theory is that M4 extreme wasnt ready so they had to essentially scrap the REAL new Mac pro

<<@alexblankenship7385

Why can't Apple sell one of these for much cheaper with a Max chip?
>>
<<@michaelflynn7055
says :
Coming back to this video, and it really sounds like Marques is struggling to find a reason and use for the Mac Pro to exist. Unless Apple does some radical redesign, the Mac Pro will largely be sidelined by the studio, regardless of the PCIe expansion slots
>>
<<@JAKOB1977
says :
Thats xtreme this is like 1½ year old according to stats, and it gets +2800 in single core which is mindboggling good but also a flagship device. 1:24 and now 1 yearlater people gets almost 4000 single core with a base M4 to 500 bucks. /v6/cpu/8964887

<<@mashaireowilliamson3000

Wondering if anyone has try to mod the m2 Mac pro
>>
<<@shadabamarkhil780
says :
It’s very simple: expandability! With the Mac Pro, you can install a wide range of PCIe cards-storage, networking, audio, and more-thanks to its seven PCIe slots. The powerful power supply supports high-consumption cards, making this machine ideal for professionals who need to customize and upgrade their systems. Apple designed the Mac Pro for this level of internal expansion, not just for extra ports
