He doesn't like that God would send people to hell and considers it evil in human terms. He also considered it evil when God punished the Cananites as well as Sodom and Gomorrah. He would rather live his life apart from God, and live according to his desires, but not take accountability by God's standard. In not using Biblical speech, scripture or Godly reasoning she has assumed much and convoluted the rest. You've probably seen very few of these people in your lifetime. Many are saved, but few walk with God purely. They are persecuted by even the proud elect at times. Beware, be as children before God and see if you can perceive the difference between someone who is born again (many) and someone that truly pleases God. An understanding of Biblical authority would help out a lot here.
