He doesn't like that God would send people to hell and considers it evil in human terms. He also considered it evil when God punished the Cananites as well as Sodom and Gomorrah. He would rather live his life apart from God, and live according to his desires, but not take accountability by God's standard. Beware, be as children before God and see if you can perceive the difference between someone who is born again (many) and someone that truly pleases God. An understanding of Biblical authority would help out a lot here.
