Systemet sviker de mest sårbara på ett allvarligt sätt. Medan den offentliga debatten orättvist fördömer invandrare, blundar myndigheterna och institutionerna för avskyvärda brott som begås mot våra barn, samtidigt som de stöttar och skyddar förövarna. Det svenska systemet har överlämnat mitt barnbarn i händerna på hennes egen pappa, en manipulativ man som begår övergrepp. Vi är brasilianare, och barnet är också brasiliansk medborgare, men pappan är svensk – och det är just därför han har systemets skydd. Skolans kurator har gjort anmälningar flera gånger, men skolans ledning tystar ner fallet. De tänker inte på barnets lidande och den risk hon utsätts för; de tänker bara på att skydda skolans rykte och kändisskap, så att institutionens namn inte fläckas ner. De föredrar att rädda skenet framför att rädda ett oskyldigt liv. Tack för att du är ett ljus som inte slocknar och för att du försvarar dem som inte kan försvara sig själva.
