Christians are not a protected group. Christianity is the majority religion in the US. They are not oppressed. They have a lot of power. They do not get the abuse gay people do. I have heard Christians in America calling for the execution of people just for being gay. There are laws in place to protect them. Businesses are not allowed to discriminate against them. If a person from a minority wants to buy something, you can't refuse to serve them on the basis of their minority status. If they want to start a business, other companies are not allowed to refuse to do business with them due to their minority status. There are protected groups. That's the law. If you don't like the laws that govern business, don't go into business. What Frank is calling for is the right for businesses to discriminate against minorities. I also don’t see self defense being advocated for in the New Testament (prescriptive Scripture) anywhere. Where did Stephen in Acts 7 defend himself? Where did Paul defend himself, or Peter when getting executed. The only thing you have is an assumption behind why Jesus told His disciples to buy swords. It doesn’t say it was for self-defense, it’s something you all added into there. He could’ve very well told them that in order to teach a lesson about what it means to live by the sword, not that He told them to buy it for self-defense.
