If God chooses to make humankind free because “that’s just who he is”, then we come up against the problem once more of why that’s who he is, and soon we find ourselves speculating on what it’s like to occupy his vantage-point beyond time and matter, in our efforts to understand if his choices in crafting Being make sense, and we commit already a fatal error in doing so insofar as a finite chronological entity cannot comprehend and infinite one.
