Instead, the AI will be the "happy slave" to do the heavy labor for you, or things like building houses, making furniture, cooking, entertainment, etc. Moreover, if the replicator can replicate a new uniform for you in 5 min, why do you need to wash the old one and iron it just because your great-grandmother loved doing that in the 20th century? I'm sure if you ask her, she will tell you: "I wish I had one of those shiny C3POs to cook and do the washing for me while I'm at the spa doing my nails and coiffure!" THE ODL IS GONE, GUYS! P.S. Of course, any dictator like Khan can misuse the technology and start WWIII, but this doesn't mean that Starfleet must use the Magic School Bus to go boldly where no 1st grader has ever gone before, instead of developing FTL and going beyond Warp 9.5. right?
