Dave is indeed living in sin, so thankfully we can follow Jesus method of addressing him privately first. A public forum is NOT where you rebuke him, for that is the Lord’s judgment. Rather, it is our job to lovingly deliver the message. If he chooses otherwise, that is tragedy and deserves prayer.
