It serves the intellectuals but not the people who are depressed. The intellectual blindness is more often harmful to the truly depressed. It highlights the failure of the 'positive mental dominance' model.>> <<@belleofthecamp6530 says : Still want to understand why we only use 5-10% of our brain. Where the heck is the rest? Is it like the dark matter that’s also aprox 90% of our fractal universe. Oh, maybe that’s a different channel entirely lol>> <<@NikolayGanovski says : my guy looks and sounds like he's out of Limitless :)>> <<@nopenadda says : I do not understand the title of this YouTube episode because it's not really the title or the focus... And its giving me anxiety. Who wants to sit through 2 and 1/2 hours? To listen to someone you've already listened to to try to find the bit you want>> <<@aminblm says : Your attention to detail is truly remarkable, Tom! 🔍🎧 #AttentionToDetail #RemarkableSkills>> <<@lululemonbar9110 says : I agree with other comment. Please timestamps! People have limited free time and focus! Not everyone is a wealthy and can leisurely listen to a 2-3 hour YouTube video. We have to work, take care of kids etc.>> <<@meljemi8541 says : I trained my brain at a young age to be resilient.>> <<@sallypilcher6761 says : Too bad Mr Williams had to say “you know” in every sentence. Distracting and unnecessary.>> <<@Sumyunguy2 says : You make the best podcasts. I'm incredibly lucky to have access to the minds of all of these smart and interesting people. My communication skills have improved too and I've found easy ways to treat people better without being awkward. Thank you>> <<@theemperor4901 says : 48:00>> <<@anthonytrisvane4693 says : Guy sounds like homie off bobs burgers 😂>> <<@cross-eyedmary6619 says : At 1:30, when Tom asks, "Really, how?" It's like he's never heard of WWII lol We are still "benefiting" today from a lot of German "medical" research.>> <<@JasonSmith-dd2ms says : Dude, Tom, at 36:40 it was like you were a puppet with my words coming out of your mouth. Anxiety has debilitated me, too, at times, but you described it perfectly. I've only experienced what you have (no anxiety and feeling limitless) on MDMA. But of course, that's not a long term solution. I'd love to try the stimulation therapy, too.>> <<@davidmuiga6930 says : Hey, I loooooove your interviews; I keep coming back to them. When listening we are so absorbed and the frequent use of the F-word is still considered unprofessional and offensive in so many parts of the world. We're used to hearing it in movies and entertainment, but this is a classroom and we come here to feed. It jerks us off when our concentration is so high on the content. Please consider toning down on expletives; we would really appreciate it. A very humble request.>> <<@mims2582 says : you two are 2 smarties Love the discussion that’s complex but brings it down to our level>> <<@mariatranslator says : The two of you made my day! Tom - really interested to hear about the diet changes that got you that ~70% reduction in anxiety. You may have already covered this elsewhere (i've been digesting as much of your content as I can). thank you for everything you and your team do!>> <<@jpkaneshida5075 says : This is a fantastic talk. Among the comments are those of folks who've healed themselves that are truly inspiring. One other truly inspiring pod was Mikhaila Peterson's "carnivore stories" which had about 4 guests who had healed via carnivorism. Unfortunately, that episode has been taken down, I don't know why. It was #69 Carnivore Anecdotes 2 of the 4 interviewed were bipolar, and suffered from depression. One, Kelly Hogan was very obese. When you listen to them speak now, not only are they lucid & upbeat, but they seem, for lack of a better way to put it, clear. They're both on yt; Kelly Hogan, Emily Penton>> <<@ericc.5327 says : Love the intelligence but the " you know" part was to much for my brain>> <<@nicolettemyes1683 says : I feel like you’re talking about something that already exist. Called bio feedback and brain training? My daughter did this for anxiety and PTSD and it worked tremendously. Basically we trained her brain to create a new neural pathways to calm her brain and then it stayed that way. The way it was explained to me was that they knew the ideal alpha, theater, Delta wave length for the ideal, focused brain… And they sent the frequencies to her brain to create that. We did this versus medication and her anxiety was so bad she was getting aggressive and physically abusive to her siblings so even though it was sort of crazy to try… It worked. And it was not that crazy expensive. They also told me that many top athletes use this to get top focus.>> <<@StellaChilinharova says : About psycedelics. The receptor did not evolve, how you can derive a response on the drug if there was no receptor for it in the first place. it was always there so thats how people accessed higher states of conciousness, or enlightement or God. It is because of that receptor human race evolved not the other way around.>> <<@StellaChilinharova says : Yes more than weightlifting. Because moving the body and involving different parts and connecting opposite sides of the body will stimulate the brain in different ways, how you feel the body in space, mobility, stability - all of this.>> <<@chelseablais1563 says : Thanks for clarifying the part about weed, because I was like 🤔 “hold up, I’ve been listening to Tom and Lisa for A LONG time and he’s always been saying the trade off is NOT worth it for weed” I was a frequent user, quit, and that interesting little fact you found out, is what made me and my husband start smoking again 🤭😳 I love your content, thank you for still making great videos and having interesting diversified topics and guests! 🙏🏼>> <<@Kamshaft says : 1:45:04 one of my friends had an experience with DMT, after his experience he said he re-lived all the times he was mean & hurtful to people through a 3rd lens, he was insistent on apologizing to me in regards to how he had treated me in the past, it was humbling to see how it had changed him on a positive note.>> <<@DJSTOEK says : Thank you!>> <<@VitautsSuharevskis says : This was very interesting. The part about abigail drug trip realy shocked me, becouse i had very similar expirience to that, but i did not use abigail. I had a trip thrue my past but it was still from 1st person view. It realy messed me up, it took me few month to get over and understand stuff. Now, I do understand that trip changed my life and view on world.>> <<@john_dren says : Please interview Roxanne Meadows>> <<@savikate says : Tom....Your lack of psychedelic experiences just about halves Your understanding of these topics and so does it hinders the full exploration of depth that these tipics have to offer. Amazing episode! 💪🏻🧠>> <<@shirleyross6700 says : This conversation is amazing! I learned so much. I had not heard of this scientist before. He is so good at explaining these concepts! Thank you!>> <<@shelbysteiger6821 says : Hey there! 🎉 Exciting news to share - I've just applied to not one, but TWO openings at your amazing company! 🚀 While I may not have all the experience listed, I'm a fast learner and genuinely passionate about your mission. For the first time in decades, the United States is losing its clout as a federal reserve currency. They don't have any more economies to use to control inflation, and less money is being spent on stock and oil trading than in the past. They all lend support to the idea that a new multilateral world order is in the works.>> <<@dr.kathiperry2606 says : Alcohol removes my filter and says I CAN dance on the tables and bar😳😳😂😂😎>> <<@shining_one says : Can you please Listen and allow the guest to speak.., You interrupt and tend speak as though you know as much or more.
