Even the British didn't Colonized Nagas but rather approach and maintained a friendly Relationship.. Some Campaigns happend here and there due to Raids and loots by Nagas. Soo the World war 1 started in foreign lands, and many naga Warriors was enrolled in the Allied forces Assisting in war in France. These surviving Warriors and soldiers after seeing the world in picture like never Before and understood about the World outside the Hills of Naga Realm came back to Nagaland with Gathered knowledge about the mechanism of the World; it will be indeed astonishing and overwhelming for a Group of Nagas whose ancestors and themselves have lived their whole lives in the Hills among headhunters totally disconnected for the Outside world life and technology; and suddenly they are shifted to France where the Civilization was was beyond their Understanding. They saw weapons of great power, in their view which only God could possess, they experienced buzzing physical and Moral structure of society that was way ahead of their time. They also witness the greatest war in history of that time like never before, In their homeland Arrows and bows and spears machete was weapons of Warfare that could Kill people but here they witness Battle at completely different level, a war that could even wipe humanity from the Surface of this Planet Earth. They came back to their Homeland rejoicing victory yet with the horrors of war in the back of their Minds and what it can do. These Warriors came together to Unite the Whole Nagas and Tribes as they knew what happened in France could also happen in their homeland One-day. With Gathered knowledge of politics, ideologies and seeing how nations grow Strength thes group of Warriors became The First Naga nationalist to grow in strength and power and be ready in Case if one day such fate comes face to face with our destiny. Even at this time, India was Totally out of picture in context with Nagas. Then Soon, what the Nation list feared about the Prophecy,the Greatest war of all time Fell upon the Innocent Nagas. It was an outside conflict and Naga had no involvement on it, they were going about their daily lives and Suddenly the World war was in Nagaland. Most Nagas haven't even seen an automatic Rifle that time, and out of nowhere, they saw war planes, shells and bombs dropping, 100 thousands of armed soldiers, tanks etc etc. Just some few days back, it was a peaceful life in Beautiful Hills and now, it was a Nightmare, such that no one knew when they would see a quite and serene morning again. Even at such times, the nagas volunteered and fought bravely protecting their Motherland, family and loved ones. With God's grace the War of Wars WW2 came to an end, in their own Naga soil. Then the British empire gave Nagas Independent Power of Administration. Everyone was happy and Glad that the dust has finally settled down and now better days was ahead. They didn't know worst reality was about to Unfold. This is where the Indians Step in. They also got their Independence from the Britsh empire. Indian govt then Unleash war ,torture, killings, rapes etc for dacades the most unethical and inhuman act( research and read the decades of Deeds of Indian army and Govt towardsthe Nagas(, just to claim the lands. The Nagas still stood strong to protect the Motherland, culture and love ones. But sadly the People of Nagalim was divided through fake borders In the later 20th century, after all the efforts by Indian Army and govt. To eradicate the Nagas, they didn't succeed to suppress the Voices of the people and came to an agreement which still state that Nagaland as an Autonomous place with its customs and cultures intact. Naga Nationalist are known as the Mother on insurgency and longest running Political parties of the Govt. SO THE STATEMENT "NAGAS migrated to India" is False. It was and is Nagaland from the start. It was Nagas that joined the Indian Union with terms, conditions and period, and not Nagaland being under Indian Jurisdiction from historical past. Indians came in to steal like the British did to them. The question in my head is that,"How? How can people and country who have suffered immensely Under foreign rules and invasion for centuries do the same to other Race of people... This shows they were complete evil.>>
