I did cringe a couple of times but it was funny stupid cringe XD not Velma cringe. I did not notice the trans barbie at all but i did notice John Cena as a mermaid barbie and i did LOL at him a lot. I was having a good time, laughing way more than I expected. Good movie, bad message. It feels like the male actors did a GREAT job at doing their part & then going above/beyond. Sure it more highlighted the female perspective, but Ken was also showing how problematic it was to. He swung from one side of the pendulum to the other, but he was still ultimately playing what he THOUGHT was who he should be, and it isn't until talking with Baribie, and her sharing what she learned, that Ken realizes he isn't just "A" Ken, he is Ken. It seemed like a movie about losing sight of yourself for an ideal. The scene where the women snap out of the dream, also happens to the men, after Ken's self actualization.
