When you put up the money to buy it, it's yours and you want your stamp on it. I'm more in favor of the name change than against it. I can see the logic if you're Elon, with his X branding on all his ventures. But if it were me I'd have kept it Twitter. Like most people would have. I'd have changed the logo a bit.
