Who are you polling?>> <<@mikethomas6120 says : When a government works hand in hand with corporations like they do that is called fascism! Government employees routinely pass legislation in favor of corporations then leave government for a high ranking senior position at the companies they helped past legislation for! And when it comes to profits they will always be more important to a corporation than that of a human’s life. All that being said this guy is a joke for the fact that he said he was a huge fan of globalization! The very tech he is talking about being fearful of is what our governments will use when they create their technocratic dystopian global prison society. Globalization is Not good it means a one world government where we are all tracked by big tech. It will be the end of nationalism. Why do you think all the borders are purposely left open in every western democratic country right now?>> <<@ClintBaxley says : Biden is a unifier? LOL Made it all the way to 1 hour and 20 minutes until losing credibility.>> <<@epapanak says : He talks🎉 only if the companies that they do those things transparently, how about those who do things invisibly. We know these cycles of cooling and warming are hundreds of years long and apart. We also know people like Al Gore and prince Charles lied to us for years. We all remember the predictions of Manhattan island being under water by now. The exhale of co2 from my body is a pollutant??? Come on. Co2 is food for everything that grows on the planet. Co2 greens the earth. Thats a fact. There are thousands of excellent scientists that wont call human activity as the main driver of climate. The truth is we dont know at this time in human history. That make this man a liar.>> <<@etownKeystoned says : No cooperations have their hands on nooks??? Not if you measured inflation the way the US did in 1970 it would be double The government bean counters are only counting half the beans, LOL. In 1975 I worked for Gallo Wine loading trucks for delivery to the stores in Commerce CA. Just out of high school with zero skills, just a strong back. We worked 12 hour shifts, two guys loading 500 to 600 cases per truck, 10 trucks per shift. Union shop $9.10 per hour = to $54.20 per hour. There are almost no jobs paying that today. My son who is 46 with an engineering degree is only making $35.57 per hour in Everett, WA and cannot afford to buy a house, his apartment rent is $2400 per month. I know people in their 50s working fast food jobs for $10 per hour. Maybe that is why the stock market is doing so well, record profits for the corporations, record low wages for the worker. Crazy time we are living in and it is going to get crazier.>> <<@jefferysurratt5650 says : Bitcoin is just like the dollar and the price can be manipulated, look at how much it has been inflated and when the economy crashes Bitcoin will go down in value. Bitcoin was supposed to be a new currency to be used instead of the dollar. But the Banksters and hedge fund managers turned into an investment, to make billions off the idiots that hold onto it. They will make sure they sell their Bitcoin before the crash. Warren Buffet said - Bitcoin is nothing, you are investing in nothing and in the end if you hold on to it, you will have nothing.>> <<@jefferysurratt5650 says : We are all being programed from the first day of public school, on the job, in the military. With everything going on why do the MSM CBS NBC CBS and many others show the same 5 stories on the nightly news, with spin of course. Programming propaganda to get us to think the way the government wants us to. To buy the things they want us to buy and scare the crap out of us. So we can be good little citizens and not rock the boat.>> <<@831Miranda says : Take a look at interviews with Yanis Varoufakis and / or at his book 'Techno-Feudalism'.>> <<@korsakow says : I don't know but I find the thought that governments decide on the future of AI much more scary than a plurality of companies, that are owned by millions of people (the shareholders). It defies me that people have a fundamental misunderstanding of what freedom is.>> <<@paulfaulkner2855 says : What most average climate change pushers don't realize is that every solution from electric cars, solar, or wind is that each solution uses more carbon producing energy to produce these items than they will ever save. Example: all electric cars will use more oil to produce and use than it will ever save, same goes with wind turbans/farms and solar. We are more than 30 yrs too late and any of these little gestures are just for people to feel better,, but in the end it's all a scam. Just like recycling, 95% of recycling is fake and goes in land fills or is placed on barges and shipped overseas. Plastic is not ever possible to recycle, look it up.>> <<@Lily-sg6tz says : This real tech evolution. It's like saying a bright green house fly turd is valuable because its rare. Currencies based upon gold work because its pretty, and has deeply embedded historical context. Fiat currency is as valuable as the political, economic, and military force supporting it. Cryptocurrency is valuable why? Because it was cooked up (mined😅!) on an Nvidia GPU? Doesn’t work.>> <<@Indrid__Cold says : 46:15 An AI operator's license? Ha! With a secure VPN people will continue to do whatever they want with AI. Instead of technology being "The Wild Wild West" it's going to be more like the post apocalyptic world of Fallout!>> <<@Indrid__Cold says : 35:15 Wow "god is dead?!" Your intellectual stock value just doubled from my perspective and I'm subscribing! My compliments.>> <<@Indrid__Cold says : Wow, the idea that companies won't use AI to reduce staffing immediately is wildly naive! Most large companies today have ongoing staff reduction organizations as deeply embedded as HR and accounting. Virtually every company has a bottom 20% performing employees that they would like to dismiss with cause. Additionally, a lot of companies are chomping at the bit to use AI as a means of aquiring more "obedient workers" from the labor pool. AI may well be one of the best prospective employee screening tools to come along in the last hundred years. Mark me on this!>> <<@Indrid__Cold says : I have been nothing short of astounded by the rapid advance of AI. We are indeed at a strategic inflection point similar to the days when the first Altair PC became commercially available. The big difference is the incredibly low barriers to entry for those wishing to exploit this new technology. The Altair PC was an expensive machine with a very steep learning curve. It would take years for this revolutionary device (and its siblings) to change the world. It would be decades more before the creation of the internet would extend their reach beyond a single location. AI is "pin to pin" compatible with existing hardware and software infrastructure, thereby making it a much simpler matter to implement. That's what's catching even the bigger heads off guard. I'm currently using one of the most powerful AI models on the planet for $20.00/month. That represents an insane value proposition to anyone who moves quickly to implement it. Tens of billions stand to be made in just the next three to six months by early adopters who use AI to increase the value of their own output. Those who choose to ignore these opportunities will be left holding a pink slip or positioning a "Going Out of Business" sign.>>
