Oatchi is a HUGE game changer for overall pacing and consolidation of gameplay. The Pikmin are “smarter” in Pikmin 4 in some ways (staying by the finishing location once they’re done carrying material stacks, better pathing around hazards, quicker response times, etc.). Also, I really am appreciating the segment-type levels in the pipes more — it’s a great break from the open worlds which can really pull your attention all over the place, so it’s nice to have areas with one clear cut goal. Such a wonderful game.
