The King James Version has the quaint "heels made bare," which obscures the sexual assault. Notice that the "iniquity" for which they were being raped was not immorality or depravity; it was simply because "you have forgotten me." There are nine passages in the Old Testament where God makes cannibalistic threats. Here is the worst one: "And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me; Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins. And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat." (Leviticus 26:27–29 King James Version) General Jephthah made a vow with God in order to defeat the enemy. (Judges 11:30–39 NIV) After burning his daughter, Jephthah was rewarded with a prestigious judgeship and was later buried with honor. Cutting babies to pieces and raping the wives "See, the day of the Lord is coming — a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger. . . . I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty. . . . Their infants will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses will be looted and their wives violated." In business we often say that “culture eats strategy for lunch.” Which means, if the staff don’t have specific goals and tasks that match the strategy, then you’ll eventually have a revolt on your hands, and the business will struggle, and the staff or culture will start to take over. The strategy falls apart. However, Faith or Trust in God or evidence of success, is what should protect the strategy. So, if the Executive team believe in the strategy of the Company, they will come together for its success! Therefore, Faith protects the Strategy from the Culture, and Faith influences the Culture in order for the Strategy to bring forth Success! The current Culture vrs Faith environment that we live in is a reflection of that Stragic Paradigm that we face today. The Bible predicted this shift. Do we get in the way of Gods' Prophetic Word or embrace it's inevitability? This is the way!!
