<<@ExplainingComputers says : Greetings All! Following many posts below, just a word on the operation of the Pi 5 power button. When power is first connected to the Pi 5 (ie the adapter is plugged in to the wall socket and/or switched on there), the Pi 5 immediately boots -- which is what happens in the first boot shown in the video. But if the Pi is then shut down but power is not removed, the power button can be pressed to boot it up again (which is what happens in the second two boots shown in the video). So those worrying that human intervention is neccessary on every boot, or after a power outage, need not fear. :)>> <<@DryHarrie says : Amazing content as always!>> <<@suminshizzles6951 says : Ducks....lol...Those are the famous fishing Cormorants. The man on the boat taught the birds to fish for them. To stop the birds from swallowing the fish, a rope is tied around their necks. Sounds cruel but it just prevents them from swallowing the fish. The birds then bring the fish up to the boat and the man takes the fish from them. Now, the birds have their limits as to how many fish they allow the man to take and after that they refuse to actually fish anymore. So he has to give them a fish every 8th or so they catch. There is an actual number of fish involved when they stop being nice and refuse to "work". I think it was the "Wild China" BBC docu that told this story.>> <<@ChronicEngineering says : Check my most recent live streams. Also, @ 8:50, I was very surprised the wires inside the mSD slot were unprotected and just laying in the slot that way-- the card itself looks like it could end up possibly damaging the wires with frequent card-swaps.>> <<@frankoconnor806 says : Looking forward to seeing your pi5 16gb application and suggestions with the new memory handling updates>> <<@garyolson3315 says : I'm late to the party, but another quality, fun and informative video! Broke out my RPI 4 pi-tops and this vid made me envyus. Great videos on faster Pi alternatives, but the support level is hard to beat with Raspberry Pi. Thanks for the video! Amazon on the ready. ;-)>> <<@MarkBush-en5cz says : Much like an Apple 2c which was supposed to be portable but which required dragging along a power supply, monitor, storage so it was an incredible pia. Modern laptops and notebooks are insanely more usable. This Pi is a project that is developed and stable enough that you just have to plug in the various interface devices and cables but it is a play toy to educate, a little, unlike a kit where you solder, like 80's Heathkit H-100.>> <<@OpinionDude says : Now here have Pi4 but in next week Pi5 coming πŸ“¦ thanks for the good video πŸ‘>> <<@weakbit633 says : Thank you for the Video!
