Many Arab chroniclers spoke of the abundance of African slaves and so this inspired the sultanates of the Middle East to open up slave routes. So, when a political leader begs for charity today for slavery that occurred hundreds of years ago - and yet that same political figure or academic says nothing at all about modern slavery in Africa, TODAY 7MILLION men women and children, then I would suggest that 'activist' is corrupt and dishonest. 1966, Guyana achieved independence from the United Kingdom, while CHOOSING to remain a member of the Commonwealth. 1965, Singapore achieved complete independence from Britain. Please ask yourself how did Singapore become a world economic power and Guyana remain a dishonest cess pit? Corruption! Corrupt politicians and bribery are a significant problem in Guyana, impacting various sectors and hindering development. The country's 2024 Corruption Perceptions Index ranking of 92nd and a score of 39 out of 100. In the World Justice Project Rule of Law Index 2024, Singapore was ranked 3rd for absence of corruption, the top Asian nation out of 142 countries. Do you see what the difference is - the culture of the people in Guyana, is low IQ entitlement and corruption. This is why Guyana is still begging and blaming everybody else for its lack of progress and Singapore is richer than the UK.
