Apple is definitely the phone for the masses, people who only think about themselves and what's best for them and unfortunately theres a lot of that in today's society. I just got my wife the fairphone 5, finally a company that's trying to do things right. I think from a marketing view, younger generations are more prone to back and buy products from companies who are "Greener". In my view, this is why there was so much emphasis.
