I would love to have one , it’s easy access and a quick draw. Do you have one under 3” by American standards? Or a pocket fitting/ deep pocket knife, to enjoy the quality of the knife?it’s an awesome design, and I carry a Civivi bullmastiff.this would be better than that

Maybe you can put the pin on the back, so when you cut you can make it lock with your thumb

Auto knives, like switch blades, aren’t federally illegal, and are only prohibited in Delaware, Hawaii, New Mexico, New Jersey, and New York.

Skyrim switchblade love it
>>
<<@dumpywhite
says :
Just be sure to enclose the gears because one tiny pebble will render it nonfunctional. Also, maybe use a gear ratio other than 1:1 so you Don’t need to move the rack as far in order to deploy the blade. I always love your ideas lol

<<@Berkana
says :
Instead of using gears, you could use two wheels with tensioned cables with captive ends wrapped around them in a figure 8 pattern. Turning one wheel in either direction will turn the other wheel in the opposite direction via the cable. Even the slide can engage the wheel with another pair of short cables with captive ends under tension. As for why that might be a better solution, it might have much less friction and may be much more resistant to jamming due to fouling. If grit gets into the mechanism as you designed it, it could jam the gears, but a cable and wheel system would still work even if some grit got in there.
