<<@northwoodsbrookies says : You can kill the entire human polulation with a virus, that has never been seen by any human so far. Just because its small doesnt mean those things cant be effective. Ive killed several coyotes with mine.>> <<@YT-ml3nh says : blow gun not mean to be strong, it was mean for using poison even your skin scratch by it mean death, and for hunting, blow gun must have spear in front of it for extra protection or for close encounter>> <<@damianlopez7630 says : How did you make that repeating blowgun???🤔😳🙏🙂>> <<@grh7399 says : your diameter of the pipe is too BIG.>> <<@darrenstettner5381 says : The video is fake. Use common sense. My friend shot my other friend with one of those blow guns in the shoulder and it was fine. Granted, it wasn’t a hunting tip but my friend he shot wasn’t a bear either.>> <<@54114142 says : 10000% an unethical lucky shot. Hit a rib and the bear runs off and suffers for weeks>> <<@RealGFastlaner says : The dart needs a strong poison/toxin that paralyses or kill the animal in minutes after the penetration in the blood stream and it can be safely digest.>> <<@matthewtalich9989 says : One thing I would like to point out is game shot with a blow dart often doesn't even realize it's been shot. On the subject of humane and inhumane kills it's hard to argue that if something doesn't even realize it's dying that it's dying in pain. I've observed hunts with blow darts and bows where game animals were shot from cover did not see the shot coming or the hunter and did not respond at all to a fatal shot. Game animals often don't even realize that they've been hit or injured or that you're even there after you take a shot with either a bow or blow gun if you are in total cover. I've witnessed an elk hunt with a bow where satellite bull returned to be shot a second time while responding to a cow call. I've also seen this phenomena occur with the razor heads from Cold steel. Game animals shot with one of these blow darts often and don't even realize they have been shot and mortally wounded if they don't see the dart coming or the hunter. I've seen both small and large game animals not respond to a fatal shot and allow a hunter to put in a second shot and even a third shot in because they don't realize what's happening. A gun on the other hand blows things apart the wounds are vicious and there's absolutely no way anything doesn't know it's been shot with a gun. Even with a suppressor a gun doesn't really seem to kill in a way that doesn't cause panic or fear at the end unless you take a brain shot I guess. I'm not opposed to it but I find it rather strange that in so many old world countries in western Europe don't allow methods of take other than center fire rifle for large game.>> <<@billc7536 says : We also have to consider technique.... Or lack thereof>> <<@billc7536 says : I have chronographed many shots in excess of 200 ft per second without too much trouble. It's about technique. The most important thing if using this weapon for hunting is being ethical. I'm not Tim Wells I would never try to take larger game. It's obvious that it can be done by a master level guy. There again this is not a toy>> <<@billc7536 says : He also has taken many other species of game that could be considered large by any standard especially for a blowgun. This man is exceptional He's a supreme hunter with many many years of experience and he makes these blowguns and he also makes many accessories. I've been shooting a blowpipe for years even before I purchased one of his blowguns. Accuracy is exceptional to 15 yards plus. Not a toy definitely a lethal weapon that humans have used to take game since time immemorial. This is a hunting weapon.>> <<@jamiemiller8678 says : You have a freaking bolt action blowgun?!! So awesome>> <<@TravisAnderson-zw1pd says : Can you diesel a blow gun like a pellet gun>> <<@ThuyCawlEemThaBlaydRunna says : It was also a black bear. A grizzly would whip its head around spot you and rip your legs off. They also have significantly denser musculature and fat deposits than black bears meaning you’d need way better penetration and power.>> <<@SofaKingSerious says : I love your scientific approach to your content. But for those of you saying that poison tipped darts are more humane. Please look up the effects of the poisons used on the targets bodies. Having your longs stop working, creating massive internal hemorrhaging, or full body paralysis (can’t move but still feel) is not humane.>> <<@tripplebeards3427 says : Yep, there’s no way a blow gun there is gonna go through a rib. He just got super lucky… like it was said down below just because you can doesn’t mean you should.>> <<@prehistoricprojects1923 says : I love you magazine feature, thats real clever! And your grouping with the lazer sight was awesome. Having a longer tube will for sure help, potentially the gaps in the tubes that allow the reload feature to work could be taking from your air pressure. Even a little could make a big difference. I'm no expert though, food for thought. Loved the video!>> <<@bryanmcpherson3576 says : Yes. Tim wells has done it>> <<@awatchmanoftrueisrael says : Tim Wells is One of One. He does it because he can and he can because He is the Slock Master. That is why this video and thousands like it are speaking on his accolades.>> <<@richardlachance6818 says : Apprend au gens qu’il faut viser les poumons d’un gros gibier et non le cœur>> <<@NancyCurran-kj2hp says : why the f\,,k would you want to.......>> <<@Treblaine says : It should be noted that ballistics gel is only formulated to simulate animal tissue for very small very high velocity projectiles, like a bullet from a gun. When the surface area is large and the velocity is low then the gel's tendency to grip more than animal tissue leads to far less accurate results. A bow hunter demonstrated this where gel would grip a field point so tightly he couldn't wrench it out yet there was no resistance withdrawing a broadhead from a carcass. The exact same arrow that passes through both sides of a deer and sails off into the distance will barely go a few inches into ballistics gel.>> <<@stuartbailey6201 says : Of course you can “ if it Explodes on impact>> <<@JohnFrumFromAmerica says : With a strong enough poison dart yes. You my not be around to confirm the kill though.>> <<@timothymchugh6232 says : It’s real, Tim has taken many species of big game with a blowgun. I have one as well and while I wouldn’t hunt big game with it, myself , I would try in a survival situation>> <<@Kchill1986 says : Keep in mind this is gelatin not flesh with blood in it,warmth ECT.>> <<@RickyD1968 says : The Tim Wells blowgun was 5FT which will go a lot faster than yours because the longer your blowgun is the faster the darts will go !!!!!!!>> <<@standardgigachad3297 says : The Last thing a robber in Joergs house ever hears: "LET ME SHOW YOU ITS FEATURES!">> <<@JakeGZ0804 says : Tim is an extremely talented hunter and well experienced it can’t be myth clearly as you must of watched the video and actually there is more videos of people hunting bears with a blow gun I don’t mean to come across as being an ass but you should word your sentences differently>> <<@bee2DaRad says : I know what the barrel being a lot longer. It gives the dart longer force push behind it then the short one.>> <<@Weaponmaster35 says : Love your voice ❤>> <<@Dirifosoe says : self made crack pipe. Why call it a mythe if he already did it>> <<@rabbithomesteading3797 says : The slockmaster dont have to fake anything.>> <<@1979augistine says : The gelatin grabs the blow darts much more then meat would>> <<@cormacmccarthy1559 says : Fun show. I think you may have stepped into the blow gun rabbit hole without knowing what you were getting into. You may find the deeper you go, the more you will find blow guns were used much more than any other tool for hunting all sizes of game by men for ages. It is logical that a small silent dart with poison is a much less dangerous motion than any other means of projectile hunting. I hope you keep going down the hole.>> <<@Shawn-m4z says : That leather is so much tougher than the live hide in a bears armpit>> <<@simpletruth555 says : Exactly... the ribs are close together... and to get to the heart, you gotta get past them. If you can't kill it... don't shoot it.>> <<@anthonylombaard5939 says : When I shoot a blow gun, I actually use my tongue to close off the hole, build pressure im my mouth then remove it, and that really gives it good power>> <<@nunyabeezwax13 says : there are hunting poisons that will take anything down, and leave the meat safe to eat, so you can hunt anything with even a needle dart.>> <<@aaronhopkins6697 says : Around six feet is optimal.>> <<@Selurones says : My dear Jörg, you don't have enough air in your lungs. Also, my blowpipe doesn't go fff, but PFFFFFFFFFT. There's a lot more steam behind it. The same arrows easily pass through 5 cm of Styrodur, losing the orange plug. However, my Cold Steel/Tim Wells Edition blowgun is 1.5m long. It fits a lot more air and accelerates the dart to a higher speed. Always fill your lungs completely and expel air with all your might. So not FFFFF, but PFFFFFFFFFT.>> <<@Selurones says : Mein lieber Joerg, du hast zuwenig Luft in den Lungen. Also nicht FFFFF, sondern PFFFFFFFFFT.>> <<@BradenVoorhees says : Wrong blowgun>> <<@markfair7648 says : Human lung pressure is only about 2lbs. With practice you can and proper shot placement is key. That is with any weapon. Great for Tim but i am not trying it anytime soon. The risk is to great to animal and hunter a like.>> <<@KarlSelbermacher says : Um die Power eine Blasrohrs zu erhöhen, muß das Kaliber verringert werden. Das Rohr füllt sich bedeuten Schneller mit Luft und beschleunig den Pfeil entsprechen stärker>> <<@davesnothereman699 says : I'm a simple man, I see Joerg, I click.>> <<@dustinpotter8312 says : A rib flat would stop penetration but rib structure is curved so any shot that is not on the flat (meaning only on the curve) the "dart" would probably penetrate well. Tim has shot a number of other animals of mid to large game animal size. and many have only reacted as if they were stung by a bee or stuck by a thorn and after a startled jump or short run have stopped to look back then acted normal not knowing they have just been killed. In may area white tailed deer are said to endure as many as 11 lung puncture wounds during rutting season while fighting other bucks and live to breed the next season if not taken by hunters or automobiles or predators. I liked your honest approach. You are industrial. I could imagine you building a PCP blowgun with a 10 shot (+/-) going 400ft +.>> <<@Docv400 says : Your technique is wrong Jorge. You need to release your breath pressure faster, by making a 'TCHOO' , a bit like when you sneeze. Difficult to describe in text.>> <<@Bonsaiman1 says : Cold steel all day and night>> <<@АлександрПирогов-б8ь says : Извини но стреляешь не правильно ты просто дуешь в неё медленно, надо резко и сильно.>>
