A comedian is looking for a reaction and not a thought of what the “appropriate” reaction should be. It appears political correctness ruled the day before reason and investigation which is disturbing. I hope any talks Dr. Peterson gives will be recorded for the public or at least students around the world. So according to some Cambridge Professors’ logic, if a person wears a Neil Sedak t-shirt and I’m seen photographed with that person, then I’m supposedly a Neil Sedak fan as well. People are afraid of extremism and how fast it spreads online; of hatred and death threats and rape culture. That's what is driving the fear - armed mobs in America roaming the streets (with all sorts of assorted ideologies); two UK MPs being murdered for their beliefs. The fear doesn't come out of nowhere. We get death threats for wearing the wrong hat. It is horrible to have academics turn against you, but it's also horrible to have a mob baying for blood and threatening to rape your children because of Twitter post. Literally.
