With technology being almost necessary for life ... being expensive makes no sense at moving forward in the future- how will anyone that can afford the new enjoy themselves without other giving validation to them? Have fun ... if millions us can't truly participate then what's the point who is it for? Is it just about power ? Really? Technology and new and cool is just not important when most people are struggling with rent

I don't even use my camera that much ... I don't call or get calls anymore - text usually - also the phone is more of a device to get and sell my personal info as data points for sale... can't afford it and don't want it enough...

At a thousand dollars and just being so use to having what I am familiar with - not to mention all the things that is now ingrained in my everyday life - in particular with paying for shit - then also security - which is already confusing and at times so complicated- not something I want to spend time understanding how how how!!! It needs to work... yeah so maybe there is a lot of you out there that can participate in this new tech realities comfortably good for you... I would love to understand without all the complications and trust is an issue in general

Ok this is what we need. We need the foldable part to be removable. This means you can then use the phone as single , with the second screen. Or even on top and to the side of that. I mean build a tv at this point. Who would f with this?!?

Hi community, Hi Marq. I know this is a 2 years old video, but I`m watching sometimes again your past videos / reviews, and there is a specific moment in this review , where I have a completely different opinion and i strongly disagree with conclusion you got there. You said " power user features, as much as we love`em, don`t sell phones" also you said " We figured this our many times when LG, Sony, Asus Zenphone try to bring in this features are not selling." My opinion is that features in this case are not a contributory factor to NOT selling the phones, nor the efforts to create something different. The problem is THE NAME of this brands, and is not even the brands fault, is the consumer. We live in a time where we are surrounded by consumerism, sheep effect, mass media control and all of that, and what I am trying to say with this is , if a big amount of people are buying Samsung and Iphone, because of the sheep effect (majority not thinking for themselves and not willing to be original and take their own choices in term of what represent them, they will just go for what the other do, which is Samsung and Iphone, and that is how in present that became the TREND , the majority. Basically all the other brands are surviving on minority which is day by day smaller, as like I said, majority of people are switching for Samsung / Iphone, but the same people don't have a clue why they buy this brands phones. They just do because the next door did the same, and so on. Are a lot of brands and phones out there, which may fulfil the needs of a lot of people, better than samsung / iphone. People which need stronger battery and good camera good overall specs, but for less money, which obviously Iphone cant offer. People which need better camera but they would like something more unique in the same time and not that pricy , which obviously Samsung cant offer, but the other brands you mentioned are slowly dying, they can. But again, majority will chose to got or Iphone or Samsung regardless, only because of thinking " what if my work colleague see I bought an Oneplus, some people dont even know Oneplus makes phones, they all have iphones" , and etc. That is the real reason why this brands are dying, because majority become day by day fake, trend, sheep. i hope this make sense as english is not my first language. Take care, have a good day !

0:44 I'm not buying a foldable until they have figured out how to fold glass. And it needs to be immune to sand/dust and other crap, and i don't mean very resistant, i mean immune. It would just be a waste of money and a short lived phone otherwise.

I've had one for 9 months, yes it's great except for one important thing: it's a brick. It's big and heavy, fine if you don't move around, just impossible if you do sport, or to have it on your Moto (I use a very strong magnet on the Moto and the car, the phone is so heavy it always ends up falling). Now that I'm moving around a lot, the thing is too heavy.

I fell in love with OP and Oxygen OS after switching (returning) from my Samsung s25 plus to a OP 13R, thinking it would be a downgrade to save money. I was totally wrong. It personally felt like an upgrade, even with the 13R being so much cheaper. OP had officially one over a long term Samsung fan. I can't see myself going back. i just can't get myself to buy a folding phone when I could buy a high-end gaming laptop for that price.

Folding Phones Not Like Others Folding Phones!!!: What about having folding smartphone with led display screen for the outer display 6.5" and above. And the outer display will be color-ink display. Isn't this what is called innovation!!! This will attract serious readers whether they are business people, students or casual readers who read magazines or even read a lot from social media apps such as Facebook etc. This will be a healthy product for the eyes of the clients. Imagine that you have a phone and e-reader in the same device. It is clear that the main advantage of the big inner screen is the readers. Who doesn't need a pen for such a device!!! A built-in pen to take notes in the book you read. This will make it like you have a piece of paper or a notebook that has unlimited white pages, books, magazines etc. who has the courage like Steve Jobs to make this crazy idea... Stay hungry stay foolish...Think different!!!!!!!

These things are so expensive that people reason they do not need that functionality. That's the only reason these aren't selling, if Google released their pixel fold from two years ago today, for $800 - $1000 and people would scoff that up.
