If you don't have a 3D view, you lose your sense of cause and effect, strategy and planning, if you don't have a higher dimensional view, you're much less aspirational, self-inspirational, seeking higher unification of the being. But if you're just this 2D perceiving agent, your causality is stolen, you just become a light switch to turn on/off by the environment from controlling your belief systems to what you eat, what you think and even the sophistication by which we think about said thing.
