True, I wouldn't have carried one in the military for noise and blade thickness reasons. But the knife is exquisite, and cleverly designed. Once open, it is a perfect, albeit noisy, small dagger which fits wonderfully into its included sheath. I would carry it for show, though it is too noisy for hunting animals of any kind. Is it possible to use this design to produce a small letter opener in the style of a Roman gladiolus. It would have to be small of course and also dull. It could be a key chain with your logo. I of course give this as a gift and hold no clam to it profitability. If it is only made of cheap plastic and can only damage the seal of paper letters then all the power to you.
