They are much better than what we see.>> <<@Guy-Dude84 says : With image intensification, i kinda expected to be able to see people, even without any light, because humans are very slightly bioluminescent>> <<@4422michael says : I don't think that's the first time he's been "directed from behind.">> <<@SxnxsterBlxxd says : except L3harris PVS-31A, the 4 tube NVG is Tonbo Imaging BNVD(P) made in India>> <<@lachlanparker570 says : 12:53 does this mean that the microchannel plate needs to be replaced?>> <<@Nilguiri says : Near infred? ok.>> <<@Stix84 says : Lol ive developed an advanced meta material that render all these NV gens... I've always thought the whole "its blue cuz the light reflects blue to you" is dumb. That shirt is blue even in the dark, so what makes it blue? And, before you say something like "its only blue cuz of the light", that's not what I mean. I mean that shirt has a definite, defined color. Everything does, even in the dark, so what makes THOSE colors? What colors things even in the dark? As in, when there is no light, and your shirt is still blue, what makes it blue? If you still say "its only blue cuz of the light" then whatever color YOU think it is in the dark, what makes it that? Things are colored. I'm very interested in knowing what makes "absolute" colors, the colors of things in the dark.>> <<@tazimusics says : When I was in basic training in 2008, they told me that the reason night vision was green was because "there's more shades of green than any other color" . That never made sense to me. Thoughts?>> <<@tazimusics says : How are there, presumably, infinite electrons to flood the view from the few that enter? Is that what the battery is for? I am assuming so as I type this, but I'm not sure.>> <<@Highabetic94 says : why do they use millions of fibers to invert the image, instead of a lens?>> <<@pacharapopun1387 says : skibidi>> <<@patrikjonkman5039 says : Theon??>> <<@dott.dottos says : Isn't it normal to not differentiate between eyes open and closed with the blinds closed?>> <<@truthdefenders- says : No "official improvement in over 30 years"?
