These are the phones I have used since 2013 from the Android space. iPhone 5, Iphone 7, iPhone X, iPhone 13 pro max and iPhone 15 Pro max have also been my daily drivers. Google's messaging app is available to everyone and allows for online communication. Samsung has their version, pretty sure my Redmi has it's own version, and they all work interchangably with each other. Why is Apple the exception here? As someone outside of the US market I didn't really see much of the iMessage being a problem thing, but i can imagine that it's excruciating, especially for a young person, to NOT own an iPhone. This is plain and simple, anticompetitive. I really hope that pressure from Google and legislators forces them to just make an android app. It's really not that difficult to do. But as for Americans right now, guys please just use WhatsApp, Snapchat, Instagram DMs, Meta Messenger, anything else. It's more universal, everyone likes these apps, they are often loaded with more features than iMessage anyways, and again they are UNIVERSAL. You don't depend on the other person using the same product as you to ensure normal communication. Also thank God this isn't a thing in Europe because i would totally feel pressured to buy either an outdated shitphone or an overpriced new iPhone, neither option sounding particularly appealing. I love android, great features diverse design many companies competing and above all, cheap prices for low and mid range devices. There is no midrange iPhone. They are all flagship priced, the normal non pro models might as well just be a scam honestly, with how much they sacrifice they should cost like 400-500 euros!! Also update, just found out that Apple will indeed embrace RCS. Good!! If I take a photograph of the sky it will fill in what I'm actually looking at. In my opinion, the Google pixel 7 is better than any. iPhone I don't understand what the hype is with the iPhone. It does not do nothing that another phone don't do. I also don't understand people that would pay $1,000 for a cell phone and then turn around and buy one the next year. What they're doing is they're destroying business. He can send messages to iPhone not that he's copying the iPhone. It is giving the user more control over the advice and in all Messengers it should ask.
