I've had experience with cops because of my mental health and even though I was spitting out hostile remark after hostile remark, they kinda just treated me well, even got one of them to put their finger in my mouth to get some hair out of it, which is not a safe thing for them to do. I know from experience that not all cops are bastards, but as sure as there are bastard civilians, there are bastard cops. Maybe sheriffs aren't bastards.
