In Finland it's illegal, unless it's for work, but if you are going fishing or collecting mushrooms etc it's also legal but the law is kind of doesn't make sense. I never leave the house without a knife, I don't care about the fine and if they take it away, I'll just get a new one. I carry a SOG Spec Elite II, a large heavy folding knife that I can flick open as quickly as a large switchblade. The only firearms laws are federal laws. I carry a 9 mm handgun every day.
