Jesus was certainly moody, especially when he couldn't get his figs out of season. SHRUG On the other hand God could exist and Jesus could have been raised from the dead, but that wouldn't make Christianity true. Jesus also prophesized that he'd return for Judgement Day within the lifetimes of his immediate followers. He also said his true followers would have magic powers greater than his. He also said the Holy Spirit would keep his church in the truth. And yet, Jesus didn't return, his followers don't have magic powers, and the church has been splintered into thousands of sects. So what happened? And why was Jesus so moody with that fig tree? And why was he so rude to his mother, siblings, and disciples all those times? And why did he cry out "Why have you forsaken me?" in the earliest version of the crucifixion? Doesn't sound too confident. Here's an alternative supernatural theory that is more probable than traditional Christianity: Well, what if Satan won? He'd already won virtually all the other kingdoms of the world demonstrating he is extremely good at his job. What if Jesus buckled from the dehydration and fasting and worshipped Satan in the desert and forfeited everyone's salvation? It wouldn't be much of a temptation if Jesus couldn't possibly have failed. Maybe he did. Perhaps the bad guys won in this creation. And maybe that explains why modern Christianity is unimpressive as a divine movement. Please notice I've granted just about all of your apologetic arguments with this "Satan won" theory and I've explained the modern day facts better. So perhaps Christianity USED to be true and now it is not. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans. Our salvation has to match up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. Eternity is TOOO long to be WRONG! st, John 5:39, Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church. It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, And they continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS and the other is a WORK OF FAITH. Titus 1:16, They profess that they know God; but in WORKS they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
