The cost isn't high because of its build quality, its high because its expensive for Tesla to build a car they just designed and created it in the last 2-3 years. And lets not act like the truck doesn't make up for some of its quality issues with insane new design and cool features not found in most cars like you know being a power generator for your home. When the iPhone first came out it cost 500 dollars and the average person spent less than 100 a phone. You weren't just paying for a "luxury" phone, you were paying for all the R&D it took to build an entirely new product which had many flaws, but was really cool at the same time. Most of the issues people are raising are not unheard of for a foundation model. Many of these will get resolved in the second generation. Know what you were buying. Trying to compare a cybertruck with other trucks that have been around for decades for perfection is silly. This is the first ever car of its kind. Its not going to be perfect and its going to take time for Tesla to improve the manufacturing so you get more bang for your buck. For a first generation its a hell of a car. I mean its cool enough for Kim Kardashian to do free press. Be honest with people but don't hate. "This is a cool car but don't expect it to be some practical luxury car that is perfect".
