We live together right out of college and I went to my dad and my uncle his brother and told them what was happening and all I wanted was for one or both of them to show up at my house get in this guy‘s face and make it clear that he has never to touch me again or speak a negative word to me and I wanted them to haul his ass out of there. Make sure he stayed far away from me and tell me I am such a valuable person and they will not let anybody ever do that to me as long as they’re alive. Instead, they did nothing and now this podcast is making me realize just how many moments of my life Myself, and my female cousins had to literally fend for ourselves with predator type guys coming into our lives and our father‘s literally doing nothing about it. It wasn’t even on their radar. The men of the past had much easier and better opportunities that enabled them to appear or be stronger than men today. It is a delusion and illusion. If its easy to get a job and to save and invest and get ahead and life is simpler, even if there is more manual work, not to mention all the debt and scams (college, jobs/career, retirement, housing). The previous generations had 2-3x an easier way forward very early on. Men get dumped and women have delusional standards and hundreds if not thousands of times more options and invest absolutely nothing today (time, money, commitment, sex, emotional intimacy) and are mostly all damaged (sex with dozens or hundreds of men and dozens of emotional partners and emotionally unavailable). Men get used or wrecked in relationships, no man does not, its why its so rare to find a marriage lasting a couple decades, and even she is getting the advantage and the man put in all the time and work she is just riding on his work and efforts. Men struggle to get women because they have to compete with women and then make nearly double on top of her plus be hot and be fit and be financially stable and not have tons of credit card, student loan debt, and the like. Men of the past stripped down to what men today earlier on would be even weaker than today. Our generation has had to retool or change entire career directions 5x in 10 years and they pay a quarter of the proportion of what the money can buy. There are very few high paying jobs and media is going to be diluted to nothing in a few years by AI and all high end jobs and businesses will be next to nothing in the next 10 plus years, so then there is that as the future for us weak men. Previous generations had one or two careers and earned 2-3x more and had homes cost half to a quarter of today.
