I always wanted to know why Mr Mugabe expelled whites out of Zimbabwe, as i have a little bit of understanding now, of why Zimbabwe turned into what it is. As i am going to say you are absolutely correct. Mugabe is not entirely alone to be blamed for that, as he managed to take the land from the white people and give it to the black Zimbabweans, but unfortunately it was the black Zim people who let the collapse of Zim, as they didn't know how to manage it. How could they have failed to manage those large fields and everything else, which they did when the white people were the owners, as the black people were the workers, where they should have learned so much about the life the whites were living? One just wonder, what did the Zimbabwean people wanted Mugabe do for them,while they were the ones who were always working with or for those white people. As nowadays, people of the world considered Mugabe as an authoritarian, meanwhile i would like to say they are workshy people, which resulted in the distraction of that beautiful country, where the new generation will always stays with the thought that, that country was destroyed by Mugabe, which is not the entire truth.
