When they tried to make it, their scientists figured out how to make it lighter, stronger and cheaper than the americans, but the Party wanted THE AMERICAN BOMB so they had to scratch most of their work to make the same bomb the US dropped in japan. Also, US military supremacy wasn't accomplished by the bomb, the war was almost over already, it was purely a marketing campaign to terrorize the world, that's why they dropped it in two lesser cities and in japan, US military and tecnology was slightly ahead on novel ideas, but their applications were really bad, like the really really bad sherman tanks. Most of the time Americans claimed to have invented something and boasted to the world how great they were, but in actuality they were kinda behind in develpment they just showed it first, like the airplane. After WWII the US was involved in many conflicts and lost Nam, Korea, Laotian civil war, Bay of pigs, The civil war on cambodia, the second intervention in lebanon in the 80s, it became a mockery that the US didn't knew how to win a war, since WWII, they only tasted victory again (and this was a huge boon for american pride, the government was actively seeking ongoing conflicts to pick a side and WIN) until the Reagan administration. They weren't the top dogs up until the 80s, it was all marketing.>> <<@TheFilipFonky says : 1. be rootin 2. be tootin 3. and by God, be shootin but most of all 4. be nice.>> <<@dillon9312 says : Yesterday I would have cooperated the whole game. Whichever had the most points should have counted as a win or loss (1 point or 0) The results would then be much different as tit for tat could never win a game. If it was playing any sport it would lose every game regardless of how many points it scored.>> <<@alohotranks says : 3:40 current>> <<@timseguine2 says : Something worth pointing out is that in an evolutionary scenario, players aren't purely self-interested. This is because evolution optimizes for inclusive fitness, which is more or less the survival of genetically similar individuals. Siblings share roughly half of their genes, and cousins one eighth. If you carry this outward, it means there is an inbuilt genetic incentive to be nice towards people in your own family or geographic vicinity(since those people are more likely to be more related to you)>> <<@elliotl1945 says : be interesting to include one more rule. You asked what we can do and I believe we can set up small businesses at home. There is a dude in the UK that started keeping bees in his dad's back yard after not being able to rent anymore he moved back with his parents at 30 years. I've fine the same. Can't even afford keeping a girlfriend. He now sells honey door to door in the neighborhood. Things like this will fulfill our hearts and still we will be doing something good.🎉 Don't be gloomy. I live in Vancouver and it's the most expensive city around the world. Let's use what we have to put food on the table. Grow veggies outside and avoid buying, keeping chicken for our eggs.
