What a joy that the kids get to experience these days! :D Cheers.>> <<@USBMEDICMalcolmScole says : Can ya use top an bottom together.. Been messing around with the stupid Argon Neo case all day trying to get it running. I'm going to try this instead of their instructions and hope for the best.>> <<@paulw314 says : Hi Chris Iv been watching all SBCS since the first pi. (Particularly your videos). Iv recently built a very expensive powerful pc which I thought will be my last build as everything is going SBC. I now think I will go SBC earlier than I thought. If i just need to do basic things I might aswell use an SBC. Thank-you for doing this addition to your pi5 video as its what i was actually looking for to have an nvme drive. I would quite like to see open suse kde running on a pi5 with nvme. I want to run it as an efficient pc and potentially (if I like it) a mini server. Thanks Chris.>> <<@n6iap says : Thank you so very much for all your work. I only see the sd card (booting from). I have changed the ssd to a P3 Plus an it works! Excellent help, your Videos! πŸ˜€>> <<@k9slover says : Very good video, clear and well explained. One part that was particularly helpful was the close up of the PCIe receptacle and the small cover. When I was trying to lift the small black cover up, it came off altogether and I needed a close up of how it went back on. But very helpful.>> <<@amandioreal2293 says : Hi, where can i buy an m2.0 adaptar like your?>> <<@James-zj9ky says : Raspberry Pi setup like this would be great to use in a mini kray array>> <<@jackthatmonkey8994 says : But Raspberry Pi advertised SBC! Was very surprised to see the PCIe 3.0 activate !>> <<@DAVIDGREGORYKERR says : Why don't they copy the UDOO RYZEN Bolt V8 and install a SATA controller chip on the Raspberry Pi V as it would do away with the need for these boards and you could just use 256GB Corsair SSD drives and not worry about it.>> <<@DavidWilliams-wj4sc says : I just got my rpi 5-8gb yesterday and tried my nvme hat with the rpi ubuntu flavor and it's EXTREMELY slow. I enabled nvme gen 3. (altho the config file seems blank except my two lines that i added) I open terminal and 5 mins later it opens. I have to hard cut the power. I'm also getting low power/volt warnings even with a laptop 65 watt charger (and several other chargers/cords) no matter what OS i'm running. I think the trash can is going to get an rpi5 soon. Also, my nvme does mount on the top of the pi vs bottom. Not sure if there's anything else I need to add to config file, etc.>> <<@youngpablomusic242 says : I love the video ! I'll have to see what I can do about getting 4 pieces of acrylic cut to about 75x100x(2~2.5)mm to fit the bottom of my DeSalvo Pi5 Galactic cases. Custom-cut the rest of it, and then I can mount this to the bottom of my case. I already have 4 50mm pcie cables being shipped to me. The one it came with was simply too tight a fit. I'll be testing it with the 256GB NVMe SSD that came with my Dell Optiplex Micro that I got some 8 months ago. Sidenote, don't EVER buy one of those, it is the DEFINITION OF PAIN trying to find memory for it.>> <<@golf-n-guns says : Can anyone recommend a case that accommodates a RP5 with the active cooler and the Hat Drive Bottom?>> <<@luigiprovencher says : I had no choice but to use the pimoroni as a HAT because I wanted to use it with the official raspberry pi case and still have access to the SD card slot. I didn't like how the cable obstructed the SD card slot and the cable was little short and so were some of the screws that came with it so I just ended up ordering the longer cable from them and mounted it on top but the pi case also had to be modified to get the Pimoroni to work as a base. I ended up having to cut a slot in it to get it to work as a base to accommodate the PCIE cable.>> <<@tinkerman9224 says : I guess I have to format the drive ?
