Women as physically weaker are viewed as inferior in everything based on that false logic. Jesus corrected this possibly inborn and but then culturally reinforced view of male superiority. Having different respo sibilities in this world based on our gender gifts and physicalities is not a matter of inferiority or superiority. Islam was written by men defending legitimising and spreading patriarchy. So were all the other religious ideologies. Patriarchy, under any of its various guises or names, is the problem. The culture of machismo, worldwide, is the issue.>> <<@fanskate2744 says : They talk about culture, religion, socioeconomic factors, gender, age….when are we allowed to talk about literal biological differences between the races, iq scores, brain size, hormonal levels. Whenever strangers are in my field of view for long enough, I notice their size, sex, and several other obvious things about them. Four women walking shoulder to shoulder at me on a bike path, quickly became tall women, then I thought they might be men, and then I saw that they were (potentially) handsome men, who should not but might be subtracting and adding bits. People passed on bikes often transform dramatically, and not always in this particularly ironic way. From my perspective, they *did* transform. So other race’s wrong whether to their own people or to others ( Europeans or others) need not be considered, need not be attended to, never significant enough. Yes. It is a form of White supremacy. We are actors in history too, heroes or villains. It cannot be only White can be villains. Or only White villain-ness is significant. It is tougher than Europe and we have geographical advantage compared to US. I have been in Brampton, there are neighborhoods with a lot of single males from South Asian origin, and all of these men work. They come to the park as groups, and I see them play cricket, I feel extremely safe when I take my daughter alone to the same park. I think Europe needs to defend their western civilization and be more tough on immigration.>> <<@Vanessa-ok3ys says : The issue of immigration is infuriating. It is not complicated. Sympathize with men from war torn or otherwise chaotic third world/islamic countries all you want but a governments FIRST obligation and responsibility is to its own citizens. If it poses undue risk to YOUR PEOPLE and in this case your female population in particular then the answer is no. You dont let them in en masse. Sympathy is not an excuse because in doing so you demonstrate ZERO sympathy for your own population whom you are obligated via an oath an office to serve and protect. Sacrificing your own women/girls on the alter of political correctness and fake moral obligation to strangers who do not share your values and are liable to pose a legitimate threat should be a criminal offense.>> <<@breedjack says : Women have been discriminated against for centuries. After surviving the Inquisition, Western European women fought for better and fairer treatment. And for a period we did indeed feel free and safe in public spaces. After the influx of many Muslim immigrants, the free way in which we as Western women can move and dress has been restricted. The Muslims scold us for our equal rights. They watch us in our skirts and shorts, they call us whores because we are white. This violation of our freedom must be discussed and seen and recognized in our countries so that all women in the world who still live under oppression can hang on to hope for a better future.>> <<@frankfunkpt5321 says : What this brave woman is saying is true. I live in Germany an saw first hand what she is talking about. Also, Angela Merkel did throw the German people under a bus, so to speak. She (A.M.) her self, of course, did not have to live withe the consequences of her open boarders. As people got insulted, especially women, financial institutions abused, property destroyed and citzens even got killed. An integrations policy was none exitenend (at least not obvious to us citzens). When the mayhem was reported all (even the press) were ask to keep quiet or who ever made there concern know was publicly called a nazi. Angel Merkel was ask many times to at least say something or apologise to the families of the killed or raped women, and or the victims of Chistmas-Market Terroris Attacks. In the meanwhile honorific attacks did happen on the streets, parks, markets, at public swimming pools. I know it's quite a cliché but i'm not appreciating my life in Dubai for the wealth point of view but i appreciate this place for the mingling of cultures and religions of the world and the order. This place is far from perfect but it's amazing how people respect each other and the majority accept diversity (and when they don't accept most of the time they are the westerners who complains). I am more than thankful to be here cause i have learned what Islam is, what Hinduism is and other religions without a constant media harming my neurons on how bad is the rest of the world. I celebrate with them Diwali, Iftars etc etc but they also they celebrate Christmas and Easter with us. I think there should not be a catch up for the Western world values but a more understanding of different values. In the West many people are becoming more and more racist because the economic conditions are getting worse and worse and there should be someone to blame. I don't feel home there anymore, I rather be enjoying my life with all people of the world and be humble to LEARN from therm rather than forcing them to think like me. Now I am a man and surely I am privileged and I can't understand what women experience around the world but again I don't think adopting 100% Western values is beneficial for anybody because we lack of many things. I think sometimes we should be able to rethink and redesign even values that seem normal to us to meet in the most efficient way people in the entire world. Said so I don't want to deny enormous problems like those i red in the comments but it all starts with leadership, education and wealth in my opinion. Atrocity for women today is happening in poor countries with no education and where values of life and gender are different. For example, one thing I learned about Muslims is that shame is more painful than death! Once you learn that and understand it you know better how to deal with it. Another example that made me sad is a meaningless thing, but when I return to Europe and it's ramadan there is no shop windows showing signs of Ramadan Kareem celebrating a Muslim festivity and this shows a real lack of being open minded or being antagonist to a different belief, culture and religion ... Again maybe I'm out of topic, maybe what i'm saying it's dumb but I believe there should be more Education and Listening from the Western World rather than trying to impose values and points of view.>> <<@johnjames5842 says : Its sad she actually believes planes brought down the towers and hit the Pentagon, and all the hijackers were Saudis , and qlot were intelligence agents , some that were recruited by the cia , and wete under investigation by the fbi, which the cia called off.>> <<@pikapi6993 says : Kemal Atatürk was not a Muslim according to Muslims lol>> <<@nevcalyear7394 says : Ayaan is one of the bravest people alive today and is a personal hero. I myself was sexually threatened and followed at the age of only 10 (I was yet unknown) by a group of 30+ years old man (already married, with wifes and kids in their homeland) and had to run for my life. have nightmares all my life and yet don't trust any other than my kids in my house. that was just the start and I'm not sorry to say but it's always moslims.......................>> <<@davidsexton6604 says : Oi Peterson stop with your obfuscation !>> <<@StyngRay1 says : You Dutch people will be screwed soon if you let the doors so open so long that the wrong dogs come home !>> <<@tibbs4000 says : Mr Peterson, while I have respect for you and agree with many of your views (at least on some level).... we have to recognize that unwanted sexual comments and even leering is harmful to women. It feeds our existent fear. So does being deliberately brushed against or touched by strangers. It is damaging to our psyche because we also know that the more severe forms of sexual assault - the kinds that end in an I.C.U or even death, do occur. And we don't just worry for ourselves - we worry more for our daughters. We read about it everyday in the news. So all levels of SA scares women. Ignoring the lesser counts of SA will not take away from the attention of counts of rape and horrific violence against women. If anything, the acknowledgement that women are at risk in all levels, may help us. Especially if we can get the men to acknowledge this!>> <<@stephenskinner3851 says : If you allow open borders across the world then rich countries may get richer, without necessarily becoming more developed, and developing countries cannot develop because of the drain of motivated and skilled individuals. Great Britain built itself almost entirely from within, beginning with the Magna Carta, through the English Bible and Reformation, the Lollards, the Civil War and on through the Agricultural, Economic and Industrial Revolution, the Chartists, and votes for all.
