People mocked the PS3's launch when it had a lot of games come out for it later on. After Halo and Gears were pretty much dead due to Halo and Gears 4, people made a switch to the PS4 when they finally realized Xbox had like 4 good franchises total. In other words, most games that launch on the PS6 were essentially developed with the PS5 in mind, and so on.
