It's like everything good from every legendary platformer in one game. All the best things from sonic, mario galaxy, a little Tony Hawk Pro Skater thrown in for good measure, and it's own unique qualities too. Dang son. This was due to the fact that the devs are incompetent. This game hits you with its best levels up front, then barrages you with mediocrity throughout the rest of the experience. I'm honestly disappointed how many people kiss this game's ass solely because Sonic Mania was good or "it was a cool idea". Unfinished boss fights, broken mechanics, clipping through walls constantly.
