Sometimes I wish @jordanbpeterson would learn that the fiat currency printing institutions are privately owned companies with private shareholders and not part of the state as their names would suggest. Making money sound again seems like an objective goal that he could help unravel and would definitely make the top of any priority hierarchy to solve any derivative problems in society. Sometimes apparent ignorance of this issue makes these 2nd layer problems real difficult to listen to.

I've never seen anyone dance around the meaning of poverty like an illiterate. Maybe visit Africa or something. Like no one cares about planning for the future or whatever you're mumbling. I want to eat. I'm starving, probably haven't eaten for 2 days. And I have nowhere to get food from. The land is barren and the money can't buy anything, assuming I have money in the first place. I'm not a drunk or an alcoholic. Just a child scrounging in garbage disposals looking for his next meal. That might be helpful to you when next u ponder "what do u mean by poverty exactly?" Don't dance around it. You mentioned everything else except the literal lack of access to food and sustenance.

Dear Jordan, I suffered the loss of my mother at 18 months & my father was absent mostly, metaphorically & physically. I grew up with a skill in forming a hard shell & a certainty that self-reliance was literally survival. I carried wounds a long time but was helped by an extraordinary coach, encountered through professional development. I have always tried to do the right thing, worked hard & told the truth (Iām very poor at lying, I missed out on the training normal people get inside families). Iāve been blessed to have found one women with whom I wanted to spend my whole life & 39 years later, we are stronger than ever. Our two kids are close, smart & hard working & there are grandchildren. Truly blessed. Then COVID arrived. Iāve spent two years truth telling. But the world is dark, under the heel of very malign people. There really is a global plan & to those who shout āconspiracy theorist!ā I say there is a conspiracy. Nothing theoretical about it. Your understanding of the consequences of totalitarianism is second to none in those with a public profile. I would like to persuade you to become much more vocal about whatās happening. Some argue itās already too late. I disagree. While humans are free, we can, as a society, come back from anything. If we permit mandatory digital ID to be installed, we are done. Mass depopulation is very likely & would be impossible to resist. Please consider contacting me, Dr Mike Yeadon. Iām sure you could find me if you wanted to. It is possible that your speaking out might save humanity. Iām entirely serious. Best wishes Mike

7:59 - "we're religious by nature" 10:00 shouldn't use political frameworks as religions 13:20 very easy to accept 3-word narrative as a political framework to view social issues 23:44 exactly. and the media somehow orients cancel culture around this "truth" that the public actually doesn't believe 25:00 it's interesting that these stem from trans-personal unconscious archetypes that categorize malevolence in a superficial sense 45:53 this is important 51:10 yeah people need to understand the question is not an intrinsic meaning to life, but something practical 55:00 yea everyone needs meaning and it's fundamental to us 57:30 it's that religious out of body experience that is tied with awe 1:02:10 lack the practice to attain dissociated state 1:09:55 yea you need to believe in what you practice to get the immersive experience 1:16:35 exactly, you need a framework you believe in to have a communion with "god" 1:25:30 it's similar to how Jordan Peterson doesn't say he believes in "god" 1:29:00 wow 1:38:45 disgust is more powerful of a emotion than fear 2:17:30 this is how you have to view it - you're doing what you've always done and people are just there for the ride 2:21:39 wow! he's only 20??

I am gonna be honest. The problem in every society is bullying others even of matching superfical differences in significant skin color differences. Many kids are picked on. Iād like to think a good way to look at the irony is that on the one hand this guys life collapsed and on the other hand the things he suggests to us to aim at are also the things that probably kept him alive when his life collapsed. Iāll take it as a testament to his work, maybe if we all try to live as how Dr Peterson suggests we have a hope of surviving catastrophic benzodiazepine withdrawal or something equivalent.

I am a Pakistani Muslim born and raised in Australia. Daughter of migrants and there is a concept of being extremely exceptional in order to succeed. White people generally don't have to work as hard to break into corporate careers as some have managed without degrees also. I achieved 93 % in high school and did a Bachelors degree in Accounting, then Masters in Education. I got married and had 2 sons by 25. Did a job such as elementary teaching which was less cognitively demanding although physically and emotionally demanding. It enabled me to save up with a dual household income. I bought a house during covid as the banks gave me a loan (teaching is a safe job) . By 28, I did an MBA and picked up computer science subjects and now I'm working a corporate IT 100% work from home job in a multinational firm. This enables me to balance the home and work. My kids are in school now. I also have my teaching licence so its a stable fall back. I'm not even 30 yet

It's so interesting that you talk about the division between religion and spirituality, which aught to go hand-in-hand. I was going through some really tough times when I was 30 and my relationship with God was dying. But I knew that God doesn't give up on me because he doesn't do that; I give up on him. So I did the Camino, 700km on foot to Santiago to try to bring myself back to him. Preparing for my pilgrimage and the years after were all part of the healing for me. In the pilgrim's office, they ask you the reason for your pilgrimage and included are religion and spirituality. And I thought: how can I pick just one? These things rightly belong together. And I think that the ailing of culture in the West is the divorce of spirituality from religion and vice versa; and also the glossing over of hard dogmas and religious practice. There is so much richness of spirituality and rigour of religious discipline within the Church, but we've become uncomfortable with it in an effort to separate our religious selves from our social/civic selves. Of the two practices that are central to Catholicism, Eucharistic Communion and the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession), we've lost the importance of the latter which is what truly prepares us for the former. And the closure of churches in March 2020, during a time when we all thought Death was immenent is proof of how the Church has forgotten that our mission to prepare for Death, not to avoid it. We are just holding on, barely, to a certain amount of social acceptance (as long as you don't mention abortion), and we are so desperate to hang on to that, we've lost sight of what Life is about, from a religious/spiritual perspective.

Enjoyed the podcast very much! Just a mindful observation- This discussion presupposed that āthings spiritualā and āSpiritualityā are always positive.occurrences. But nothing could be farther from the truth especially in Christianity and its understanding/explanation of the classic good vs evil narrative in the world. At its most elemental, spiritual = not physical.. Angels are spiritual beings. Satan is an angel, a fallen angel but still with some privy to the spiritual world. NTL, Scripture says, lAnd no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deedsā 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 Demons are also spiritual beings, minions of Satan, āYou believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe--and shudder!ā (James 2:19). And One of the most important thing we are told about the spiritual world and the cosmos: āFor we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places ((Ephesians 6:12). Now of course I could go on and on but this is a tiny representative sample to display that a spiritual experience doesnāt have to involve a lifting up to the third heaven. In fact, when BLM protesters deface a statue, kill a policemen, burn a building, or a radical leftist forces CRT and/or LGBTQ focused teaching on kindergarteners-those are all spiritual acts of an evil nature. Paul said āYou are a servant to whatever enslaves you,ā and whether enslaved by ideology or low self-esteem or hatred - those are all products of evil and evil animates the person doing the action. FTR, the OT teaches that any idolatry is worship offered to demons. This aligns the law focus of the OT and the Spirit/grace focus of the NT, quite well. Also FTR, the charismatic churches have more ārobustā Spiritual experiences than Catholics or Evangelicals. A positive spiritual experience is not a cookie cutter kind of thing. If someone is looking to other people to receive a personal spiritual experience, they are looking in the wrong place because ppl will always disappoint. Always look to Jesus! However, I do agree that the proclamation of the church as a whole is less than stellar. Jesus commissioned the church to āproclaim the Gospel.ā Jesus is Who saves. Jesus is Who attracts people to Him. John 12:32 (figuratively and literally)
