This only works using black sand from certain areas. The variety's of mineral in black sands depends heavily on local geology. Iron is normally still the most common, other minerals contain, lead, tin, manganese as well as others. I imagine you'd get different quality steel from different drainage basins. In modern times magnetic separation is awesome. Note not all the iron will be attracted, some loss but more pure

What are you talking about, go ask any actual swords expert, japanese swords were inferior and easilly shatered in a fight against european swords if they clashed. Katanas literally were made for unarmored(or almost) combat, because the moment you actually defend against it, it becomes garbage.

I’m sorry but Bronze can hold A good edge for far longer than most realize… Iron is much more abundant which made its other drawbacks worth it over bronze, but traditional Iron had its own drawbacks and bad Iron was actually often far worse than a great bronze sword… Bronze is far better than we now give it credit for, and switching to iron was done not just because it was “better” but because bronze was far more expensive with tin being extremely rare, and when/if trade ever was interrupted it proved to be impossible to make anymore bronze, so even when the first iron swords were of worse quality, the fact that iron ore is found almost everywhere made it worth switching to over bronze, even when the first iron tools and swords had major drawbacks, often shattering/breaking, with the first iron tools and swords being actually less durable, prone to contamination, flaws, and having difficulty with controlling its hardness… So yeah, iron at first was of worse quality, but the issue was its rarity and cost, which made the drawbacks of the first iron worth dealing with… It would take centuries before iron working techniques caught up to Bronze… Bronze could be hardened and hold a fantastic edge while also being far more durable, and corrosion resistant… Don’t believe the story that Iron was instantly superior!

🤔 Would it make a difference, to cool the blade in a 15 meter long, 30 cm wide, 45 cm deep watertray, with a 15 meter long, 1.8 cm thick ice rail, at the bottom of the watertray. Then lower the blade to the icerail, and then drag it at a step pace, of frontal attack at 30 chops, and drop the drag at end, and let it finish cool🤔 Inspiration to Music " Bloodrayne 2 Soundtrack " 🙏🎶❤️❤️🎶🙏GOOD FOCUS HONESTY🙏🎶❤️

Strong and sharp enough to slice a bullet in half Like a butter knife? Cuz a butter knife can do that. Everyone, this is a misunderstanding. It's something that an extraordinary samurai cuts with their incredible reflexes and skill. Can you yourself cut a bullet flying towards you? That's the question. And then it's become a case of "if it's a sword, you can cut bullets."

Enemies war armor and chainmail! The katana natural groove is actually originally intended in design. 5th century. It was curved so that it could be trusted upward piercing armor killing the bird of the armor! Do not waste your blade striking at chainmail. Look for the vulnerable spots of flesh kill instantly!! The samurai were not barbaric! They are precision warriors! Thank you! So for all you who say the curve of the blade it was developed long before to f****** get under armour that is why the katana has a natural bend!
