In 2023 over a Million vehicle thefts, and you can triple those numbers of people breaking windows and stealing whats inside called "bipping" That crime is basically treated as a job in some cities since the state won't actually punish people for it. I think having a decently expensive car is dumb since it makes you a target, But having that kind of durability kinda makes it worth it. As a person who worked for Tesla, I can tell you that it is a horrible company to work for especially if you are a woman or don't fit the cis white male. Tesla doesn't care about their customers they care about their bottom line.
