Having set my sights on an British racing green 911 with a merino interior, I guess I do appreciate muted (yet fun) vehicles. Like for example, the iPhone 17 pro max in cosmic orange vs deep blue - it’s like the phone I would like my friend to have so I can wave it around and have fun vs. the phone that is boring but which I would use every day. Point of this ramble is that it’s really a car that appeals to some people’s tastes. Sure, I’m specking out a 911 but I still like the design of this vehicle. And people who are into the Mercedes EQ line may dislike this car. But the mistake that online communities who dislike this car are making is that no, the Cybertruck is not a one size fits all car. In 2023 over a Million vehicle thefts, and you can triple those numbers of people breaking windows and stealing whats inside called "bipping" That crime is basically treated as a job in some cities since the state won't actually punish people for it. I think having a decently expensive car is dumb since it makes you a target, But having that kind of durability kinda makes it worth it. The only thing that needs to change is a hidden kill switch to stop the vehicle from being stolen with software.>>
