Ah, just moving the goalposts that Christians are want to do. An all powerful God isnt constrained to worldly logic. If he can't create a square circle, he's not all powerful. If God was all powerful, he could just make it so. Im of the firm belief that if God is all knowing then when he created some people, he knew they wouldn't accept him and he is therefore responsible for those people going to hell. Which makes him not all good, which is evident by looking at the world and all the wars, murders, and other atrocities that have plagued earth for 200,000 years since the emergence of homosapiens.

“He doesn’t do anything about it” Young brother, how did you come to that conclusion? He came down from his throne, lived among us, taught, and died in our place for us to be forgiven. Virgin birth, there are large lizards in zoo’s that have had babies without a male, so the GOD who made the lizard has power over the natural laws of the universe. Young brother, do not be deceived by the lies of this world…GOD has no constraints, but GOD gave us freedom to choose and with that many doors are opened for sin to come in but it was necessary for love to be true and freedom to be expressed.

The problem with this story about god is that god is a parent that never faced you face to face but punishes you for not believing that they love you. While also having the power to just talk to you face to face. So on so on the only one in real control is God not gods creation.

<<@ComeJesusChrist
says :
I wouldn’t diminish or blaspheme Christ’s miracles of turning water into wine by saying that ‘all He did was to speed up the process’. The free will argument here is not very convincing and seeking logic in miracles is pointless. Also, the theory of gravity is unbiblical as it originates in Jewish mysticism (not to be mistaken with biblical beliefs) and it was needed to justify the sun-worshipping heliocentric globe nonsense.

Love Frank but I completely disagree w him on this point. In the absence of light you have darkness and the natural man walks in darkness. God decides to enlightened and bless some of His children with salvation. Just because He chooses to open some eyes to His sovereign election (doctrine of election) that doesn’t mean He’s obligated to open everyone’s eyes, that would no longer be grace. No, as with Israel, it’s ultimately Gods choice whom He decides to be elected, if God doesn’t open the eyes of our heart to his goodness, we could care less about salvation. 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. 13 for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. 13 For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. However, none of this relives mankind of moral responsibility. Our natural moral nature is bent to evil to the point of being recognized in the NT as all men being born dead in our trespasses and sin.

<<@MrJimwinder
says :
We absolutely are free to choose. But we choose according to our nature. We never choose outside of our nature. Our nature, as we are born into this world is sinful and unable to choose rightly. And certainly accepting Jesus as savior is the very first thing we could ever do. Our nature must be changed before we can choose rightly. And that is a supernatural work of God. See John three. The wind blows where it will, you don’t know where it’s coming from and you don’t know where it’s going. So it is with everyone who is born of the spirit. And in Jhn, one we are, we are not made children of God by a human decision or father‘s will. Becoming a Christian is not simply a decision by a person. A Christian is a new creation in Christ. And this is only accomplished by God and God alone. All this said, with a new nature when presented the gospel, men except and choose for Christ because their nature naturally wants to do that.

I get this kids confusion i had to think through it once. God cant do things that are logically impossible thats not a limitation on his power. God cant create a square circle because thats a nonsense statement, it throws the english language up in to the air as to be meaningless, we cant even communicate, words would have no meaning at that point.

Hmm, I think clarification is required on God not being able to sin. If God cannot sin how can he have become fully man on the cross, and relate to us? Therefore, he must be able to sin, but he chooses not to for eternity. Whereas Satan chooses to sin for eternity. There is a big difference.

<<@holdingpattern245

Obviously it isn't God's intention for us to always make the perfect decisions, or he wouldn't leave it up to us, he wouldn't even make us conscious if all he wanted to do was make us always do the right thing as we watch helplessly with zero control of the situation. The ultimate goal must be something else.

<<@jakubholic8769

The aswer would be sort of ok, if there was no bible. But there is bible and in it god plays with human minds and also forces people to make specific decisions. He even created us knowing, what choices will result out of it. He's left very poor evidence of his existence and even gave information just to some people on the planet. This strongly contradicts the claim, that he wants us to be saved more than we do and that he is almighty.

In a sense, overpowering the will of a free-willed creature would be almost the same as destroying it. We see it in the horrible situations when torturers break the will of their victims - they lose a big part of their personality and turn into helpless people.

be wary and careful of not just following miracles or the supernatural, in the end times the devil will show some supernatural power as well not all supernatural is good, because the devil and demons also exist. There's a biblical test to test the spirits, and Jesus tells us to be wary of false prophets Revelation 13 11Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon. 12He exercises all the authority of the first beast [i]in his presence. And he makes the earth and those who live on it worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed. 13He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down out of the sky to the earth in the presence of people. 14And he deceives those who live on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform [j]in the presence of the beast, telling those who live on the earth to make an image to the beast who *had the wound of the sword and has come to life. 15And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even [k]speak and cause all who do not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16And he causes all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, and the free and the slaves, [l]to be given a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17and he decrees that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name

People have to understand that you can’t just put words together and then all of a sudden it’s a possibility that god can create. It’s incoherent. Contradictory Words that are put together to make one thing are equivalent to faulty lines of code. They don’t do anything. Square circle is essentially meaningless. It’s like a dull sharp blade. Anyone who asks god to do something logically incoherent is in bad faith or ignorant.
