Ishmael was cast off from the land by his father because his wife who thought she was unable to bear children and convinced Abraham to have a child from her handmaiden. He no longer had right to that land but it was said that he would be the father of nations. 2. Jews were buying back the land of Israel legitimately well before WW2. There were large land purchases. In addition there were MANY Jews that never left originally and still inhabited the land. They were treated poorly by the Muslim population there though. In addition many of the Arabs there has only moved when Britain took over the land because they came to work on pipelines or were farm hands. They came from surrounding countries but oddly claim to be indigenous today.
