<<@rosetheblackcat says : the leakosystem>> <<@tygorton says : If there's a financial incentive to get the rarest, best footage of Tesla vehicles in production, people are going to push that envelope until something breaks. Period. There should be zero expectation of people in a highly competitive space to govern their behavior right up to that edge of it being criminal. Advertising money: There is a counter argument on that. Advertising dollars are an essential part of our economic reality. Without that money pouring in, many vital sectors would collapse. Some would consider a multi-billion dollar company never spending money on advertising as being somewhat villainous. All of those platforms and media outlets that Tesla relies on to keep their "hype machine" rolling mostly survive on advertising. Hopefully you see my point. In smaller communities, large brand names often spend healthy advertising dollars with local newspapers and magazines—not because they need to for sales—but because it helps grease the wheels of that local economy/community.>> <<@grant1650 says : Watching this 10 months later someone is for sure going to ruin the drone thing for everyone if it hasn't happened already. It's just what people do.>> <<@toyota420xp says : I hate tesla so much>> <<@dontspeak2994 says : Maybe they're doing something with solar panels>> <<@geoffwilliams01 says : The Tesla design studio is actually right next door to Hawthorne airport (literally feet away). Flying a drone there would seriously risk the safety of everyone using that airport, which can be quite busy at times.>> <<@DamianBrown says : If we see it, it's usually because they want us to. It's a marketing tool>> <<@damiangrouse4564 says : Apple = WOKE Tesla = knows all free publicity is good.>> <<@sebastientumahai9560 says : Elon doesn’t advertise his products. I think he doesn’t care about people leaking his shit because it keeps people looped in on his products with no cost>> <<@naveentipugudusi7161 says : now he actually spent 44 billion for advertising :)>> <<@ANGEL_BOB_YT says : What is the cyber truck anyway It sounds like the president's car indestructible>> <<@ANGEL_BOB_YT says : Tesla is run like Twitter>> <<@CircuitXD898 says : If i spot a drone over my house i will just use a drone gun 😎>> <<@gastonfam3113 says : I used to think I would NEVER want a Tesla until last week. I rode in a 2014 and was shocked by the amount of power that thing had. I just assumed it wouldn’t offer much. Boy, was I wrong.>> <<@tinkeringstuffs6542 says : The whole drone thing is kind of already ruined just in a way you mostly don't notice ... Recreational freestyle fpv drone pilots are often times ... Actually always, being described the same as these DJI kinda people ... And so when those camera drone guys screw something up mostly we get the return for that ... So NGL ... Kinda unhappy seeing these drone shots of people flying over companys and the heads of people who litterly just work there and have nothing to do with the drone flyer. Not to say that I think everybody should hate these ... But it is important to keep that in mind and make the destinction>> <<@tmac20031 says : When you only sell 4 products, of course you don't have to advertise.>> <<@king-yq5xj says : Thank you, Marques.>> <<@FederalOverlord says : “Just don’t ruin it for everyone” He said moments before someone ruined it for everyone>> <<@jjjjjj192 says : 6:50 All people have to do is go to their website and they'll be presented with everything they need to know about their cars and it's all presented to them on the website how the company wants it presented.>> <<@JareRL says : 2:25 is when the Video starts.>> <<@amadeusb4 says : Not sure why this distinction is being made but OK. Tesla may not spend anything on ads but they certainly have a marketing department and budget.>> <<@LewisCostin says : You said the FAA say you CAN'T fly over people at 3:13. So this footage at 9:17 is illegal now, no? Sure it's 6 miles from LAX but this clip shows the drone flying directly over people. Making it illegal.>> <<@noway_911 says : this guy's an idiotmarques LOL>> <<@crazycookie817 says : I phone>> <<@lsx_oso777 says : I'm still getting a chevy or dodge over a battery car>> <<@WordDefinition says : If Tesla started advertising their model 3 price from 48k it’ll jump to 75k dealer’s markup>> <<@jmoo876 says : I’m over it>> <<@bigdefense777 says : Would it be a terrible idea to have a big storable wiper blade you could easily detach and re-attach as needed?>> <<@JetFuelOnly says : Only you can close out a video with your hand and it's not lame anymore! Watching you do a simple commentary now compared to videos of many years ago.... incredible how far you have come.>> <<@RippanYT says : I mean.. just look at SpaceX, they are building the next generation rockets a few feet from a public road in Boca Chica. Even allowing NasaSpaceFlight to setup live 24/7 cameras on their property. There was a incident where a camera was taken down and Elon himself made sure it woulnd't happen again and made a deal with them to not only get all the equipment back, but also have a spot closer to the rockets.>> <<@illwill5116 says : Its ok for Google to fly over everyone's home but they're mad about some drones.>> <<@dParakeet says : 4:38 these cars look like they’re wreckage in a scrapyard but if you put it in the lap of somebody in the states they’ll pay 100k for it>> <<@tomasm1233 says : HA ha ha epic. The design center is actually less than 3 miles away from the edge of LAX in addition they're violating hawthorne municipal airport airspace.>> <<@DivineAtheistWannabe says : 4:09 Elon Musk, the master of free marketing. This is the way.>> <<@in4theride75 says : The interesting thing about drones is flying over 500 feet in elevation in many locations puts you in FAA controlled air space, but private property in the majority of the USA owns and controls air space up to 500 feet in elevation. In almost all cases a drone is flying over private property the property owner has every right to stop the drone up to and including destroying the drone.>> <<@Motokjj says : Drone Pilots can get automatic authorization near airports up to a certain height through LAANC. So the airport thing he says is somewhat wrong. Wouldn't stop the drones.>> <<@pinballrobbie says : Its been cancelled.>> <<@jarrodvsinclair says : Love your take on this. please don't ruin it for everyone is perfect>> <<@NuncNuncNuncNunc says : If you know people are flying drones and posting on YouTube, you can use that to control the narrative. "Why did a fleet of cars just appear?" "Why have some makes moved?" "Why is this car being worked on right now?" All that can be calculated to draw attention. Two months after the fact, Tesla's cybertruck got no fewer that 2 million views by its tech savy target audience.>> <<@mrgunaman says : i thought this was jidion>> <<@shadowoof6473 says : This didn't last long>> <<@HelgastJon says : So the Tesla Semi, which was gonna come in 2020, when is it gonna be ready 😂>> <<@BikerJim74 says : Too bad it's going to be a piece of junk like their other cars>>
