Is there a way to view the model with its original texture and export a cleaned up but textured model to work with in other software?

This is so amazing. I'm creating a similar feature in my custom vulkan editor. Seeing this in action is a wonderful way to visualize how this is a great tool that bridges the gap of real world art with 3D assets without spending so much time in Blender creating the same models from scratch.

tried downloading , installing and running meshroom multiple times and can't get it to work! Every time I try to add images to the gallery I get an error "missing plugin qtalicevision" . The folder qt plugins is there. The alicevision plugin is in that folder. seems like it's looking in the wrong place for the plugin. Very frustrating.

I don't know what it's taken me so long to subscribe to you! I'm currently working on modelling a complex, solid shape and having run into some snags, I started looking at Photogrammetry. I looked for a concise video to give me an overview of the workflow and as is often the case, you had a video on it which answered most of my questions. So I'm just downloading Meshroom... all 13.3GB of it at the positively sluggish 1.6MB/sec! (if only my younger self and his penny a minute Tesco internet connection could see me now).

I truly enjoyed your tutorial on the photogrammetry and other applications that you used to clean up the mesh. However, I had a question in mind, which was how I could use photogrammetry techniques to capture the 3d models of the facade? Any technique will be appreciated, Regards,

Thank you. I work in a medical field and I'm interested in practical applications. Could this be used or adapted to generate a 3d image of a bone from 2d x-ray views? Can this be done with available free software? What are the stumbling blocks that would need to be solved? Many thanks.

Looks like I am commenting after 2 years of this video being uploaded. Anyway, I hope it will reach you and will be responded. It was a very useful video for me starting to develop my 3d printing skill. And, I have some basic questions. Uploading/downloading the photos to the software requires certain limitations. Right? What should be or ideal size of each photos? And, this software you used will work for any 3D printers? If not, which printers you recommend? I am going to copy some masks I made with 22 x 16 x 8cm. I see on your video, III P Printer. Is it sold by ??? in Europe? Thanks for your answer in advance.

you think you can apply background removal in photo editor before putting in meshroom to avoid or skip having to clean up the data from that point

Thank You for this. Now I dont have to pay hundreds of dollars to have some vendor take the pictures and convert to an .stl file. I will ask a question for anyone here. Once I have my shape in an .stl and on a 3D cad program can I then determine the solid mass or meshed density by using say Lead as the mass or some other density of matter?
