Thank you!>> <<@KA4UPW says : Would be nice to see this updated using a fully loaded P5 with a NVME drive!>> <<@HermesFibonacci says : The only one missing for me was Kali, as i find it stable too so long as you don't go messing too much>> <<@MoradorDeCalcada says : 😇>> <<@furkanarmutcu8339 says : Kali linux?>> <<@anonytuser711 says : How did you get TwisterOS running on the Raspberry Pi 5? It is only listed for RPi4.>> <<@iseverynametakenwtf1 says : 11 mins in and I realize it is top 5 for a pi four, not a top 5 for a pi 5>> <<@jrockgotit5032 says : raspberry pi os is terrible... cant even playback videos proplerly from browser. in 2024 hAHHAHA>> <<@colin0516 says : Thank you.i am very very new to expanding my computer engineering knowledge, and hearing a seasoned veteran vouch for the default rsp os is quite eye opeing! It makes sense though now!>> <<@nayr420 says : ubuntu mate and raspberry os is best!>> <<@raymondreddington6521 says : I am dreaming of a arm notebook, which performs more or less like a M1/M2 chip with very good battery life but with a linux on it <3>> << says : I haven't tried it on the RPI, but judged by it's performance on the Orange Pi, FydeOS should be very interesting for general purpose users. Very low resource requirements, very polished surface and this highly interesting ChromeOS versatility because of Android and Linux subsystems.>> <<@globoliver9697 says : Besides the technical content, I can always learn an accessory bit of English, too! 🙂>> <<@TheRenoir says : Very helpful. In order to take advantage of the 6.2 kernel optimizations I flashed 64 bit ubuntu on a ssd drive via usb adaptor. In that regular ubuntu distro i installed ubuntu mate desktop with all it's programs and lightdm via apt so now i have a up to date ubuntu mate distro with linux kernel 6.2 which runs better on rpi4 than the lts distro available on their site with kernel 5.1 on it.>> <<@billypoe3703 says : Why not create a DOS style system with flexibility to jump into a modern Raspberry pi environment? I realize terminal is available. But, using DOS would be funnerest.>> <<@JesseGudgeon2007 says : Another os that I like is Kali Linux, looks good and runs well on my Pi 4, only reason I changed back to raspberry pi os is that the picamera2 library doesn't seem to be supported atm which is a bit of a shame.>> <<@shawnvines2514 says : Excellent video>> <<@MaxiBela says : You always have useful, easy-to-understand (English is not my mother tounge) and professional advices. My HP ENVY dv7-7205tx Notebook keeps shutting down when I play movies because it overheats & it won't support more than one external HDD at a time. I have to look into the video chip on this board to see if it's any better than my laptop & if it's going to play movies all that good, I really only use the laptop for internet, movies & storage of files on HDD's. If anyone with experience of this can give me some advice, I would appreciate it greatly.>> <<@sbqolmods200 says : Where arch>> <<@zbiromax9228 says : Hello. can such an operating system on such a tiny computer be able to edit simple movies, e.g. from holidays. thx.>> <<@roxsonixx says : Keep finding myself back with Twister OS for my pi 400. I just went through a few of those distros this past weekend and while I liked something about each of them, Twister OS seems to have everything I want right out of the box. I just wish it was 64-bit. If not Twister then I would have to say Pi OS lite with KDE Plasma desktop. Great video.>> <<@pareshsolanki929 says : Thank You very much can u do video on best vim editor for raspberry pi Thanks Again>> <<@slizerraptor says : I don't understand how you can watch a 1080p Youtube Video with only around 90 dropped frames. I would hope you would do a thorough review of Berry Boot with dual monitors in the near future. While I have successfully used Berry Boot, I have yet to have it working with two monitors on any of Berry Boot installs. I have installed Berry Boot on a GeekWorm, Deskpi Pro, and Argon One using Ubuntu, Majaro, Raspbery Pi, and Kali and none will provide dual monitors when booting with Berry Boot. They do provide dual monitors when I boot directly with those OSs, except Kali will actually display the Berry Boot drive. So, I am hoping you will do a review on this and see if you can solve the problem. Again, thank you for the many years of Explaining Computers.>> <<@dennisdevine9563 says : I am surprised MX Linux didn't make it in the top five, it is more true Debian based and has more tools than Ubuntu, and as usual, otherwise a very informative video>> <<@itsyourRB says : i like all the opensource os but mostly i like Ubuntu and twister os.. Excellent video sir😄🙏>> <<@zoidberg444 says : Interesting video - I've got a Pi 3B I've had for YEARS now and I was actually wondering about moving away from Raspbian to Ubuntu Mate but after seeing this I'll stick with Raspbian. It does everything I need it to. Its been on continuously for like 3 years at this point and its always doing something. I'm not aware that its ever crashed apart from the odd time we've had the power off or its cut out.>> <<@MakerManu says : Hello from argentina again, got the 400 already, oc to 2.4ghz, really amazing. Yerba mate its a plant not a tree. Se you and thanks!>> <<@chrisarmstrong2721 says : Fantastic video, can i ask...is it possible to set up a pi server with multi masters for redundancy and also CDN and cluster. Basically im looking to create a decentralized mesh network with redundancy but there is NO dual master not clusters in case of master node failure, only slave redundance in that other pi's in a cluster would take up the workload. Kindest regards Chris, a fellow brit in Singapore>>
