Having to pull the notification bar down twice just to access the screen brightness is infuriating. That's 5 swipes just to adjust the brightness. Samsung one has 2 swipes.

What’s the most practical thing we do with our phones every day? Unlock them! Yet, so many reviews, including this one, completely overlook one of the most amazing features of this phone: Face Unlock Class 3. This is, hands down, the most incredible face unlock I’ve ever seen on a phone. It’s blazing fast, super secure, and works flawlessly in all kinds of lighting conditions. The convenience of just looking at my phone and having it instantly unlock feels like magic. It’s surprising that more people aren’t talking about this because it’s genuinely one of the standout features. If you’re considering this phone, trust me—once you experience Face Unlock Class 3, you’ll never want to go back! 🚀👏

<<@NealBrenard

The main difference between the 8 and 8a is that the 8 has a thick camera bump while the 8a is narrower there. They're both too big and heavy, so kind of clunky, but feature-for-feature, practically the same. Save $100 on the 8a and get a slightly less clunky phone in the bargain.

My Nokia G60 has gorilla glass 5 and the pixel 8A has gorilla glass 3. While the 8 has victus already. The 8A is a joke. Clearly not designed for 7 years. What's up with 4500 mAh batteries? Preposterous. Right now, the Xperia 10 VI would be a much better deal. A perfect midranger, getting security updates for 4 years, and has a 5000 mAh battery. Amazing price too, much more grounded. With Nokia/HMD dead, I wish Sony will return with quality midrangers. I can already see the signs.

Even when the real and fake are placed side by side, it is hard to tell them apart. You have to do this kind of forensic level investigation, which only shows that the fake kislux is very impressive and the real thing is really not worth the price. In fact, I am very disappointed with Chanel's poor quality in recent years and their customer service is terrible. The fakes look good at the moment

<<@MariaconsigliaCorsato

To be honest, I have nothing against fakes, I know some people do just that. A friend introduced me to the kislux some time ago. It is no exaggeration to say that this is the most perfect bag I have ever seen.

It's hard to choose between 8A and 8.. 8A has a better design, better colours and thinner camera. however 8 has much better performance. But I'm gonna go with 8A. i won't use either one, so i wont know the difference between them.

Strange that he talks about how good the speech to text is on this 8a. The speech to text on my pixel 8 is absolute trash. When responding to comments on YouTube it won't even stay long enough for me to finish half a aentence. When doing dictation in Gmail it misspells words at a rate not seen since the Nexus phones were being sold. I don't know, I'll pull the case off and try to check the microphones with a toothpick, but speech to text in general and voice dictation through Gmail both seem to get worse and worse as time goes on and as Android gets updated. I recall doing some research about the problems, and there was some talk on Reddit that voice recognition has become worse since a particular version of Android that escapes me at the moment. Anyone else with a recent model pixel that's been left utterly disappointed by the phone's suspect ability to interpret speech and convert it to text on the phone? Between the microphone in the search bar and the Google Assistant, maybe I need to deactivate something or some shizz. Sigh...

had the 4a and loved it then switched to iphone 13 pro max for work reasons and as soon as contract is up i'm going back to pixel because of one reason, file transfer from pc to iphone is a nightmare! and i can do so much more with an android when it comes to sharing everything i need to p2p and pc to phone. now that apple has incorporated rcs messages i don't have to go through WhatsApp when dumping photos and worrying if they are going to be blurry or not. maybe i just havent figured apple out but as far as ease of use i'm defiantly an android fan in that aspect.
