That's why this system has been so successful. The French colonized the culture by insisting everyone (in their colonies, of course) shared the same ancestors - Les gaulois! Imagine the folks in Cameroun reading textbooks about "nos ancetres les gaulois." I'm not going to fault France for their imperialism. That's who they are. That's how they roll. The more important question is what everyone else going to do about it? We have reached an inflection point in history when the veil is coming off, and we see the game for what it is. Moving forward if people just sit there passively and continue the status quo, who's fault is that? How long are people going to point the finger at the self-interested colonizer and not challenge themselves to rise to the level of truly sovereign people? Rules for you and not for them -- except when they impose "special rules" with exceptions for them. How long are folks going to keep playing this game?
