Its because I want to make my iPad my phone and my primary device, and I did. So the iPad Pro 11 M4 2024 saved me and with its eSim ( I use annual data plan) is my phone and everything, but youre asking me: "How to you get you SMS and Calls??" The more powerful the processing, the more people find a way to use it, just my opinion. Also @13:00 those charts seem disproportionate, and having measured them and done the sums versus the numbers…single core bar lengths for M1 vs M4 shows 1.28 vs 1.55 ie actual M4 performance is over 50% (1.55 actual to two dec places), better single-core, but the chart bar lengths are representing 1.28 better! Anyway, useful vid otherwise, a year later i am looking at used M4 ipad pro because in a nutshell GarageBand with soft synths automatically throttles back the audio resolution for example without notifying the user. So i simply get the best ipad pro power and try to keep it cool eg sat in an aluminum stand. I admit it’s a peculiar use, many people as keen on music creation as i am will have gone Apple Mac etc, i just prefer the simpler software.
