Years ago, she was sitting on her back stoop when she felt a sharp pinch. Later on that evening she ended up in the hospital. Her leg was blackened and swelled from a brown recluse bite. She was told by the doctor that she was lucky to be alive. Another doctor in that hospital was also bitten by one and died from the bite. She was in the hospital for 3 weeks. As soon as she returned to her apartment building, she was bit again. So, the hospital called the authorities on the apartment building.
