Sex outside of a loving marriage of one man and one woman is a primary cause of destructive evil. Don't let the unsaved move you away from God. Help the unsaved move towards God.

Christians have their back to the wall and must continue to claim and pretend being gay is simply a choice, just like heterosexuals chose to be straight. If Christians ever stop pretending being gay is a choice, they will be left with their view of God, an all knowing, all loving, all powerful being, who first creates someone gay, and then shuns them for being the way He created them. Your view of God (being all loving) gave the gay people a way to avoid suffering infinite torture at His command if they will simply agree to live a life of absolute, abject loneliness. Yes, I can definitely see why it’s of paramount importance to Christians to pretend being gay is a choice. Once you can absolutely no longer deny that someone is simply born gay, it’s going to to much more difficult for you to describe your version of God as all loving.

Human beings are depraved in our thinking. Hopelessly lost without Christ. To "trust your feelings" only ends up in pain and suffering because what we think is right is many times wrong.

Big threats and high stakes in bed with extraordinary invisible claims of supposed crucial psychological relationships? All wrapped up in oppressing human sexuality in all its otherwise harmless and wholesome expressions across a range of people types? I don't tend to take sex advice from 1st century apocalyptic celibates. I guess you better hope your far reaching metaphysical arguments for Yahweh's existence are THAT GOOD to turn over the much more readily apprehended moral idea that telling gay people not to be gay is horrifically evil. And telling straight people that they have zero approved sexual expressions in thought, word, and deed for like the first decade or so of their emergent sexual desires is also just such an obviously and painful deranging idea for our (generally) sexually reproducing species. I wouldn't want to be responsible for all that.

You are making a problem where there isn't one. The main issue affecting the lgbt community is not that they want just sex. They want equal rights and respect in society which, according to your faith, should be your goal as well. What does marriage, having job security, and not facing discrimination have to do with sex? That's what gay people are fighting for. That's their "gay agenda." If sex is their only issue as you make it out to be, then they should be content given that gay sex has been happening since the beginning of time. But obviously, that's not their issue.

Not saying there's no truth in the matter (likely not how it's portrayed here); however, this is simply assertions, & does not even illustrate the fact to the majority of people. Would be better & probably more accurate if her point was confined to the 2% of the people (probably less that even watch this), about whom she speaks.

If we said LGBT communities and transgenders are an abolishment to God’s designed function of sex, how are we any better than Steven Anderson? In what way do we advocate God’s position and not judge others at the same time? Pretty sure as well that heterosexuals have sex in ways that are not part of God’s designed function, yet they’re permissible. What gives?

//... the distortion in one introduces the distortion of the other ...// Which implies that many Christians ought to judge LBQT people far less than they actually do, unless they are claiming to have a non distorted view of God. If they are the ones with a non distorted view of God then I guess they are entitled to pick up the first stone and put into practice Leviticus 20:13.

God is so concerned about what consenting adults do in the bedroom that he can't focus on ending world hunger. I'm sorry, but I draw the line on ANYONE putting restrictions on my bedroom fun time. (Also, in reality, this issue isn't about what people do in the bedroom. It's about love and who someone loves, but Christians always seem to make this about what goes on in the bedroom, then strangely enough, they say it's the non-Christians who make it about the bedroom.)

<<@Scorpion-my3dv
says :
When we sin sexually we sin against ourselves. In 1 Cor 6:18 Paul writes, “Every sin, whatever a person commits, is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.” By ‘body’ it means our total selves. Who we are. Our identity. Verse 16: ‘Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will be become one flesh.”’ When it talks about becoming ‘one in body’ or ‘one flesh’ it doesn’t mean our flesh is fused. It means your whole self is involved. You’re whole self is given away. You’re whole self, you personality, your identity is bonded to another person. Sex is not just a physical act that leaves the ‘real you’ unaffected. It profoundly changes you. God designed sex as a way to give yourself to another. The clothes come off so you’re exposed. You give you body to the embrace of another. You enter or are entered. Your very self is fused with another person. The word ‘unite’ in verse 16 means ‘to bind, to glue, to cement’. You’re glued together. The two become one. That’s why sexual sin is a sin against your body, your self, your identity. If giving yourself in sex is not done in the context of life-long commitment, the result is deep pain. It messes with you in a profound way.

The unbelieving world loves to use the false negative stereotype that Christians only oppose certain behaviors that fly under the rainbow. Not so. God has made unlawful any sexual behavior outside the sanctity of marriage between a man and woman. It's His law and His people shouldn't compromise that no matter what the current cultural trend says.
