Look up what Opal minors use in Australia to extract dirt. It’s a track that they can keep adding to goes down into the hole and all the way up and out automatically dumping the waist rock and returning to the bottom. You just keep moving the waist rock out-of-the-way.

You should buy a cheap spare backhoe bucket and weld some winch to it instead of buying a winch truck. I don’t take any responsibility for any injury’s that may occur following this advice (or deaths).

Weld a plate to the back hoe arm and mount a 20000 lbs winch and wire it in to the cab that way you can drop the arm low and have extra if you run out of cable

You guys need a couple come-alongs and a winch to use the backhoe like a crane. Would be a hell of a lot cheaper than a crane truck.

how much is a telehandler? those have super long arms on them, they go up, I'm sure you could make one of those work, plus, then you also have a massive machine that could also move around pallets or any large bulky items around the resort.

Build and A frame over the hole and use a winch and pully system. Might need a snatch block or two too.
>>
<<@williamsimmons8274
says :
here is a simple solution to the digging problem. 1) attach pulley or snatch-block to knuckle/hook on end of backhoe bucket 2) park 5ton next to backhoe 3) position bucket over hole 4) run 5tons wench line through pulley and into hole 5) attach winch to barrel 6) use wench to lift barrel out of hole.
>>
<<@andrewbrown6653
says :
build an A frame and beam pulley system over the hole, then use a truck or a wench, with a remote control, to pull it up. You could then use the backhoe to pick it up off of that, like you are doing now with the second loop, or figure out a different way to move it aside so you can dump it.

<<@joshuahansen5486

If you could get a strong pole anchored to the side of the cave and a long strong rope you could tie Loops in it about the same distance as your backhoe can pull the Rope up you would then simply switch the connections between tight end loops until the bucket is out of the hole after that you have someone hand lower the empty bucket back down the hole with the looped rope

Use a fire hose and hi pressure water to clear out the dirt it will go down if it opens up below the level you are Currently at because is obviously does not hold water or it would already be full .

buy a 12 ton winch, a big snatch block, and build yourself a giant tripod. attach the winch to a truck, reel it in, you don't need a crane can be done pretty simply.

There is a fellow youtuber based in Utah, HeavyDSparks, who specializes in crane and heavy machinery. They might be interested in assisting if you reach out. Mutual subscribers have been commenting about the cave on his videos. Or you can try a winch system that they use for rescue that I've seen for cheaper than the crane trucks
